Job Title: Product Manager – E-Commerce Location: Manchester Reports To: Director of Product / Head of Product Employment Type: Full-Time NAC003 About the Role: We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on Product Manager with a strong background in e-commerce to lead the development and optimization of digital products that drive customer acquisition, retention, and conversion. You will be responsible for shaping product vision, driving the roadmap, and working cross-functionally to deliver exceptional online shopping experiences. Key Responsibilities: • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to launch and iteration. • Define and prioritize product features and enhancements that align with business goals and customer needs. • Analyse user behaviour, market trends, and business performance to identify growth opportunities in the e-commerce funnel. • Collaborate with UX/UI designers, engineers, marketers, and analysts to deliver high-impact product releases. • Conduct A/B testing, usability studies, and other research to validate product ideas and improve user experience. • Develop clear product requirements (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria. • Ensure seamless integration with payment gateways, inventory management, and third-party e-commerce tools. • Monitor KPIs such as conversion rates, cart abandonment, average order value, and customer lifetime value to inform decisions. • Stay up to date with e-commerce trends, competitor strategies, and new technologies. Requirements: Must-Haves: • 3–5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years focused on e-commerce. • Strong understanding of online shopping behaviour, merchandising strategies, and conversion optimization. • Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, WooCommerce). • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams in an agile environment. • Data-driven mindset; proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Mix panel, or similar. • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Nice-to-Haves: • Experience working with headless commerce architecture. • Background in B2C, DTC, or multi-channel retail. • Familiarity with mobile-first or app-based commerce. • Technical background or familiarity with front-end technologies.
