Role description
Summary The Product Manager I is responsible for supporting product roadmaps, gathering business requirements, and assisting in the execution of Agile development processes. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to define product enhancements, track performance metrics, and ensure successful feature delivery. Working in an Agile environment, the Product Manager I plays a key role in translating business needs into actionable user stories and contributes to iterative product improvements. Must pass a Criminal Background Check. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or equivalent experience. Years of Experience: Minimum one (1) year of experience in project management, business analysis, or a related field. β€’ Foundational understanding of Agile methodologies and product development processes β€’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills β€’ Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and development teams β€’ Basic experience with backlog management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello) β€’ Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks β€’ Clear communication skills, both written and verbal β€’ Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail β€’ Basic knowledge of customer experience (CX) principles and user journey mapping β€’ Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Preferred Requirements β€’ Experience in eCommerce, travel, aviation, or SaaS-based product development β€’ Scrum Product Owner Certification (SPOC) or Agile-related training β€’ Familiarity with A/B testing and data-driven decision-making β€’ Experience using product analytics tools like Google Analytics, Amplitude, or Mixpanel β€’ Exposure to software development concepts and APIs Job Duties β€’ Assist in defining and refining the product vision and roadmap β€’ Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and document user stories β€’ Work closely with development teams to prioritize and manage product backlog items β€’ Conduct market research and analyze competitor offerings to identify opportunities β€’ Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives β€’ Support the testing and validation of new product features before deployment β€’ Track and analyze product performance metrics to measure success β€’ Assist in preparing presentations and reports on product performance and updates β€’ Communicate with customer support teams to gather feedback and identify product improvements β€’ Work with business teams to ensure smooth product rollouts β€’ Model Allegiant’s customer service standards in personal actions and when providing direction β€’ Other duties as assigned Physical Requirements The Physical Demands and Work Environment described here are a representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of the role. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
