Role description
Role: Product Manager Location: San Francisco / Hybrid 2-3 days a week onsite Pay: $75/hr DOE The Planet Group is looking for a Product Manager to work with our retail client. This is a one-year contract hybrid opportunity in San Francisco! Product Manager Responsibilities: β€’ Define product vision and lead the strategy, roadmap, and day-to-day management of feature work to evolve customer experiences related to promotions and samples. β€’ Define customer experience and business goals for new features and improvements. β€’ Collaborate with marketing team to evaluate, prioritize and build new features and tools to optimize the customer lifecycle. β€’ Gather input from both internal and external stakeholders, and craft a prioritized roadmap. β€’ Own products from concept to launch (analyze customer data, competitors and market trends, evaluate technologies and develop detailed requirements, and manage product launch). β€’ Develop compelling presentations and prototypes to communicate your product story. β€’ Champion the needs of the stakeholders throughout the product development process; ensure what is delivered meets the original business objectives. β€’ Lead cross-functional teams (engineers, designers, and business owners) to drive the launch of the product. Product Manager Qualifications: β€’ 3+ years Product Management experience working with an e-commerce, transaction-based and/or retail brand launching customer-facing digital products on web, tablet and mobile. β€’ Experience managing multiple product launches from concept to launch. β€’ Expert in agile development process, managing Sprints and utilizing Jira to track features, enhancements, bugs, user stories in JIRA, and acceptance criteria. β€’ Solid understanding of core Internet technologies, PaaS, API’s, and Web Services. β€’ Experience developing, testing, and launching both customer-facing features and enabling technologies. β€’ Effective presentation skills with executives and large audiences. β€’ Knowledge of software development processes and tools. β€’ Demonstrated success partnering with business, technical and design teams. β€’ Strong analytical skills and a drive to experiment; have supporting examples of using metrics in all aspects of the product lifecycle. β€’ Bachelor’s Degree; MBA a plus. #CDM
