Product Manager – (Hospitality Finance) Hospitality Saas Vendor Location: Remote- UK Salary: £70,000 - £80,000K Company Overview Our client is a growing SaaS provider in the hospitality technology space. Their platform helps hotels and resorts streamline operations, enhance guest experience, and maximise revenue through integrated tools covering reservations, ecommerce, experience management, and unified payments. Role Overview This is a key role within the Financials Product team, focusing on backend systems related to payments, transactions, and financial reporting. The successful candidate will take ownership of products and features across electronic payments, EPOS integrations, PDQ terminals, and web-based payment journeys. You’ll be responsible for identifying gaps in the current payment infrastructure, ensuring robust compliance with financial and tax reporting requirements, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient, scalable, and compliant solutions. Key Responsibilities • Define and manage the roadmap for backend payments infrastructure, including EMS, EPOS, PDQ, and online checkouts. • Lead the design and delivery of end-to-end payment experiences, including transaction flow, settlement, and reconciliation. • Identify and prioritise improvements across payment systems and processes. • Ensure systems align with financial regulations, tax reporting standards, and accounting practices. • Collaborate with Engineering, Finance, Compliance, and Operations teams to scope, prioritise, and deliver features in line with business needs. • Monitor and incorporate relevant changes in financial regulation or tax policy into the product. • Establish and track performance metrics such as transaction speed, success rates, settlement timelines, and error rates. • Stay up to date with developments in embedded finance and payment technologies and evaluate their relevance to the business. • Act as the subject matter expert for payment and finance-related product areas, supporting internal teams with insight and guidance. Requirements • 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager within payments, fintech, or financial platform teams. • Deep understanding of payment processing systems, including EPOS, PDQ, ecommerce checkouts, and transaction management. • Familiarity with accounting systems, tax reporting requirements, and financial compliance. • Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment. • Comfortable working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools, including backlog management and writing user stories. • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • Experience in the hospitality industry would be a strong advantage.
