Role description
Who we are
SwimOutlet is the largest online swim retailer in the U.S. and a trusted partner to thousands of swim teams nationwide. Our Team Store platform powers the way swim teams gear up—making it seamless for coaches, parents, and athletes to get the suits, tech, and equipment they need, while unlocking exclusive team perks.
We’re building the richest team shopping experience in the industry—fast, reliable, deeply supportive of coaches, and full of community spirit.
About the role
We’re looking for a Product Manager to own and elevate the Swim Team Store experience. This is a flagship B2B product that sits at the heart of how SwimOutlet supports youth sports teams.
The right candidate combines:
• Customer empathy — ideally with first-hand experience in swim or youth sports organizations.
• Execution chops — a track record of building and shipping products in e-commerce or SaaS.
• Rapid prototyping skills — ability to create and test ideas using tools like v0, Loveable, and Figma.
You’ll work closely with design, engineering, operations, sales, and customer support to make SwimOutlet the no-brainer choice for teams.
This is a remote role.
What you'll do
• Own the Swim Team Store roadmap – Prioritize features and improvements to optimize team setup, ordering, customization, and fulfillment.
• Deeply understand customers – Engage directly with swim coaches, team admins, parents, and athletes to uncover their needs and pain points—drawing on your first-hand knowledge of youth sports.
• Prototype and validate quickly – Use tools like v0, Loveable, and Figma to rapidly bring ideas to life, test with real users, and iterate based on feedback.
• Drive cross-functional execution – Partner with engineering, UX, marketing, and operations to deliver seamless product releases.
• Elevate the experience – Ensure the platform feels trustworthy, frictionless, and inspiring—capturing SwimOutlet’s spirit as the go-to swim partner.
• Measure & iterate – Define and track KPIs (adoption, NPS, retention, team order value) and use data to refine and prioritize.
• Champion the business case – Align product initiatives with SwimOutlet’s strategic goals, ensuring both ROI and customer impact.
What We’re Looking For
• 3–5 years experience in product management, ideally in e-commerce, SaaS, or B2B platforms.
• First-hand experience with swim teams or youth sports organizations (as a coach, athlete, parent, or administrator).
• Prototyping expertise – Strong working knowledge of v0, Loveable, Figma, or similar tools.
• Customer-first mindset – Ability to empathize deeply with end users and advocate for their needs.
• Analytical + strategic – Comfortable defining KPIs, analyzing performance, and making data-driven decisions.
• Strong communicator – Skilled at alignment and storytelling across leadership, design, engineering, and customer-facing teams.
• Nice to have: Background in e-commerce operations, community-driven products, or team sports retail.
Why Join Us
• Shape a flagship B2B product that supports thousands of swim teams nationwide.
• Combine your passion for sports, technology, and community in one impactful role.
• Join a mission-driven team at the #1 swim retailer in the U.S.
• Competitive compensation, benefits, and employee perks.
