Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We’re looking to hire a Product Marketing Manager for an e-commerce client, where you’ll be responsible for crafting and executing go-to-market strategies that define the future of interactive shopping. In this role, you'll shape the product narrative, champion the customer voice, and influence cross-functional teams to drive adoption, engagement, and impact. This is a project opportunity working on a hybrid basis in Austin, TX.
Product Marketing Manager Responsibilities:
• Own the narrative for live shopping experiences by developing messaging that clearly communicates the value to both buyers and sellers across all customer touchpoints, from product to marketing to support.
• Develop and execute an integrated GTM plan that spans in-product messaging, lifecycle marketing, PR, community, customer service, and sales enablement. Ensure a consistent and engaging story across every stage of the customer journey.
• Collaborate with Product and Research teams to embed customer, market, and competitive insights into the product roadmap. Drive segmentation strategies and market sizing to identify and prioritize key growth opportunities.
• Establish and maintain customer feedback loops throughout the product lifecycle. Use insights to refine both product development decisions and messaging strategies.
• Lead cross-functional planning and execution of product launches. Work closely with stakeholders across marketing, comms, product, sales, and customer success to ensure cohesive execution. Monitor adoption, usage, and customer satisfaction.
• Define key performance indicators and success metrics. Track campaign and product performance and use insights to iterate on messaging, improve positioning, and enhance market fit.
Product Marketing Manager Requirements:
• Proven experience in product marketing, ideally within e-commerce, live commerce, or digital platforms
• Strong storytelling and positioning skills with a customer-first mindset
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional GTM efforts
• Comfortable with data, analytics, and market research to drive decisions
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Passion for innovation, emerging commerce trends, and creating delightful customer experiences
