Role: Product Owner – PIM or DMS Location: Lisle, IL (Onsite - Hybrid 4 days) Duration: Contract Only local profiles are considered Job Description • Drive the long term strategy and roadmap for PIM or DMS system integrations focusing on scalability data quality and seamless connectivity across platforms • Incorporate internal and external stakeholder feedback to generate features that deliver true business value and improve user experience • Collaborate with Product Management Engineering UX DevOps and other internal or external data providers to build roadmaps that ensure cohesive integration of product data into digital products and commerce platforms • Manage the product backlog PBL Define user stories with detailed acceptance criteria that meet a Definition of Ready participate in daily standups and sprint reviews of engineering work products • Oversee API lifecycle management including design documentation testing and versioning • Support CICD pipelines and DevOps practices to enable rapid reliable deployment of integration features • Ensure data flows are optimized for performance security and compliance using cloud services eg Azure Functions AWS Lambda GCP PubSub • Collaborate with cloud architects to ensure integrations align with enterprise cloud strategy and governance MUSTS • 5 years of progressively responsible work experience in Product Ownership Product Management or similar roles using an Agile software development process • Proven experience with cloudbased system integrations API development and data flow optimization • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs microservices eventdriven architecture and modern integration patterns • Deep knowledge of the retail eCommerce or manufacturing industry including PIM OR DMS platforms and product data management practices • Excellent verbal written and presentation communication skills • Strong initiative with the ability to work independently and drive crossfunctional alignment • Pragmatic problem solver with the ability to break down complex technical challenges into actionable components • Ability to travel up to 25 of the time WANTS • Technical degree in IT Information Technology systems or data analytics • Experience with eCommerce platforms eg Salesforce Commerce Cloud Spryker and PIM solutions eg Salsify Informatica Syndigo Akeneo • Familiarity with cloud platforms eg AWS Azure GCP • Familiarity with DevOps practices CICD pipelines and infrastructureascode eg Terraform CloudFormation Mandatory Skills : Architecture Patterns and Styles,Git,API Gateway,Network Security Architecture,Postman,SpringBoot,Design Patterns,Swagger,.NET Microservices,Integration Architecture
