Role description
Title: Product UX Designer Location: Dania Beach, FL, US, 33004 (Onsite 2 days/month) Category: Information Technology Position Summary We’re building the technology behind seamless travel experiences. Our platform enables customers to book a full suite of travel products—including hotels, cars, activities, vacation rentals, cruises, travel bags, and bundled packages—through one cohesive journey. We’re reimagining what it means to shop for and manage travel, and we’re looking for a Product UX Designer with a passion for solving real customer challenges through thoughtful design and user research. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator, a strong problem-solver, and someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Essential Responsibilities • Design intuitive, accessible user interfaces for customer-facing booking journeys across a variety of travel products (hotels, cruises, cars, etc.). • Conduct user research activities such as interviews, usability tests, surveys, and data analysis to inform design decisions. • Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and interaction flows using tools like Figma. • Attend meetings with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and support teams to gather firsthand information about customer behavior and business needs. • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and brand teams to ensure designs align with user needs and business goals. • Apply insights from qualitative and quantitative research to drive continuous improvement. • Participate in Agile ceremonies and manage design tasks using project tracking tools like Jira. • Ensure consistency across products by contributing to and evolving design system components. • Document and share design rationale and research findings with stakeholders. • Perform other complex duties and responsibilities as assigned. Minimum Experience and Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant experience. • Three (3) years’ experience designing digital products with a strong user-centered focus. • Proficiency using design and prototyping tools like Figma, Photoshop, Sketch, and InVision. • Familiarity with core UX research methods such as usability testing, surveys, and interviews. • Demonstrated understanding of accessibility best practices and responsive design principles. • Proven ability to generate UI designs in a modular, well-architected manner and experience with responsive design. • Experience with or ability to quickly learn analytics. • Comfortable working cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders. • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS. • Available for occasional overnight travel (up to 10%). • Must pass a ten (10) year background check. • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States. • Authorization to work in the US is required; this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Preferred Experience and Qualifications • Experience with customer research platforms (e.g., UserTesting.com) and project tools (e.g., Jira). • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. • Analytical mindset with an interest in solving real-world customer challenges. • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, Agile environment. • Experience working in travel, e-commerce, or related industries. • Ability to balance business requirements with exceptional user experience design.
