About The Role We are seeking a talented and dedicated React Developer to join our App Studio Solutions team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with client success and engineering teams to develop and customize React-based components and applications that enhance the Tapcart platform. Your primary responsibility will be building Custom Blocks and React web apps tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients, ensuring a seamless user experience across mobile and web platforms. You will play a vital role in translating client requirements into functional, scalable solutions, troubleshooting issues, and providing expert guidance on app customization. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely within select states and be part of a dynamic environment focused on innovation in mobile eCommerce. Qualifications • 3-5 years of frontend/UI development experience, with proficiency in React.js, React Native, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript • Hands-on experience with Shopify platform development, including Shopify APIs, webhooks, and headless commerce • Strong understanding of REST APIs and GraphQL for data fetching and integration • Experience working with client-side scripting libraries such as jQuery and modern frameworks like Vue.js • Knowledge of Agile methodologies, sprint planning, and version control tools like GitHub • Familiarity with design tools such as Figma • Basic image editing skills for cropping, resizing, and formatting images • Understanding of database systems, particularly MySQL • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams Responsibilities • Collaborate with client success and engineering teams to develop and customize React components and applications • Build and enhance Custom Blocks for the Tapcart platform to meet client-specific needs • Assist clients in building, customizing, and troubleshooting their apps using Tapcart App Studio • Provide expert guidance on Custom Block development, ensuring best practices and code quality • Troubleshoot platform issues, bugs, and client-reported problems promptly and effectively • Work closely with the engineering team to report bugs, suggest platform improvements, and contribute to ongoing platform development • Stay current with emerging trends in mobile app development, React.js, and eCommerce technologies • Engage with merchants and partners to foster strong relationships and promote platform capabilities • Mentor junior engineers and promote clean coding practices within the team Benefits • Competitive salary range of $120,000 to $140,000 • 401(k) plan and equity grants for all full-time employees • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage • Mental health support through Headspace and Talkspace • Flexible PTO policy and 11 paid company holidays • Remote work flexibility within eligible states • One-time home office setup stipend • Recurring merchant shopping stipend to experience Tapcart’s platform firsthand • Opportunities for professional growth and career advancement in a fast-paced environment Equal Opportunity Tapcart is an equal opportunity employer.
