Retail Project Officer
National Museums NI is a leading cultural institution and is responsible for ensuring that its significant collection is developed, cared for and accessible to the widest possible audience. Almost one million people enjoy our four museums each year, and through loans, research, community activity and digital programmes we engage a much wider audience than those who physically visit our museums.
The Retail Project Officer will work with the Retail Manager to drive transformation of the retail function within the organisation through a series of innovative projects.
This role will be key in driving revenue and profit within retail and associated areas. Work will focus on key projects such as ecommerce, omnichannel retailing, development of signature ranges for each Museum, licensing, publishing programme and enhancing sustainability within retail practices.
The post holder will support with sourcing, buying, product range development and general management functions in retail. Work will include research, liaison with internal and external stakeholders, and development and management of key documentation including business cases, presentations and progress reports using key metrics.
