Role description
Our client, a leading multinational FMCG company, is seeking to hire a Sales Development Manager to accelerate growth across the GCC region. This is an exciting opportunity to drive new customer acquisition and revenue generation, with a focus on Modern Trade, Wholesale, and E-commerce channels across the UAE and wider GCC markets. Our client needs someone with FMCG sales and distribution experience who can think on their feet, demonstrate strong sales and business development skills, have the desire to grow, and most importantly, can close deals. Key Responsibilities β€’ Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market presence in the GCC. β€’ Build strong relationships with key accounts across Modern Trade, Wholesale, and E-commerce channels. β€’ Drive category growth through effective category management and product placement strategies. β€’ Identify and convert new business opportunities to achieve revenue targets. β€’ Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform sales planning. Ideal Candidate Profile β€’ Proven experience in FMCG sales and distribution within the GCC. β€’ Strong network and understanding of Modern Trade, Wholesale, and E-commerce channels. β€’ Solid background in category management. β€’ Experience working for principal FMCG companies is preferred. β€’ Commercially astute, results-driven, and proactive. β€’ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. β€’ Natural deal closer with a growth mindset and quick decision-making skills.
