About The Group
From a small store in Turin to a large, internationally recognized group: we are present in 90 countries around the world, with over 4,000 employees and 30 companies, managed directly and indirectly by the Luigi Lavazza Spa parent company, which distribute and market our products and coffee machines. In addition to Lavazza, the following brands are also part of our Group: Carte Noire, Merrild, Kicking Horse, Eraclea and Whittington tea.

We combine competitiveness with social and environmental responsibility as we create superior quality products available for consumption both at home and out of home, and distributed through all channels: Retail, Foodservice, Office Coffee Service (OCS), and Vending. Our strong, diversified presence enables us to offer consumers and clients perfectly suited solutions, for any occasion and time of day.
Overview
At Lavazza North America, the Sales Development Representative is a critical frontline role responsible for driving incremental business growth by proactively identifying, engaging, and nurturing prospective Office Coffee Sales (OCS) customers for the Flavia brewer. This role focuses on both B2B (distributors and large national accounts) and B2B2C (end-user offices) lead generation, leveraging outbound strategies, SaaS-inspired targeting, and personalized content to build robust conversion funnels. This lead generator role is a customer-centric, data-driven professional who owns lead qualification, nurtures sequences, and ensures seamless integration with Salesforce for tracking and reporting. This position requires business ownership, a passion for the Flavia product, and expertise in managing sales processes and metrics to support scalable growth.
Responsibilities
• Make both scripted and unscripted outbound sales calls to potential and existing customers with a professional and enthusiastic tone to book appointments and generate leads.
• Use lead qualification methods (like BANT) to identify top prospects and pass them to the sales team.
• Book sales meetings for internal and external reps based on team availability and prospect readiness.
• Keep the lead database up-to-date and find new leads through events, LinkedIn, and campaigns.
• Target prospects using segmentation (e.g., industry or size) and send personalized materials to boost engagement.
• Create follow-up sequences using email, phone, and social media to guide leads through the sales process.
• Build and improve sales funnels to move prospects from interest to decision.
• Record all lead activity, track sales stages in Salesforce, and ensure data is clean and updated. Help manage Salesforce tool changes.
• Learn commercial strategies (e.g., pricing, promos) to create compelling offers with the sales team.
• Work with large account buyers and the sales team to close distributor deals and build strong partnerships.
• Direct non-sales inquiries to the right departments, showing flexibility and collaboration.
• Work with the B2B e-commerce team to grow online sales through quality leads and digital campaigns.
• Build trust with distributors and customers by promoting Flavia’s benefits and keeping a customer-first approach.
• Monitor key sales metrics (e.g., conversion rates, appointment ratios) in Salesforce dashboards and share improvement ideas.
• Keep customer contact info accurate and easy to access for the sales and marketing teams.
• Perform other duties as needed.
Professional Qualifications
• 2+ years in B2B lead generation, telesales, or SaaS sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding lead generation targets.
• Proficiency in Salesforce CRM for lead management, reporting, and data maintenance. Familiarity with SaaS email automation platforms (e.g., Outreach, Mailchimp) & ZoomInfo is a plus.
• Strong communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work collaboratively across departments.
