Role description
Are you a sales leader with a deep understanding of water management systems โ and the know-how to drive growth across both distribution networks and direct-to-consumer eCommerce?
This opportunity is with a well-established manufacturer of essential water-related products trusted in both residential and industrial settings. With a strong reputation in the market and a renewed investment in omnichannel expansion, they are looking for a Director of Sales who can lead and scale nationwide growth through:
โข Strategic distributor relationships
โข Broker and rep networks
โข National eCommerce platforms
โข Direct-to-consumer (DTC) initiatives
This is not a role for someone whoโs only worked inside one sales channel โ we need a leader who can orchestrate across multiple routes to market and understands the technical value proposition behind water system components and products.
What Youโll Own
โข Develop and execute nationwide sales strategies across distribution, DTC, and eCommerce platforms
โข Manage key accounts: distributors, reps, brokers, and retail partners
โข Lead budgeting, forecasting, and territory development alongside the VP of Sales
โข Proven ability to discover and leverage untapped opportunities in Water Treatment, Pool Chemicals, and Janitorial/Sanitary Cleaning markets.
โข Represent the company at industry events and trade shows
โข Work onsite with the internal team to align operations and product teams with go-to-market strategy
What Theyโre Looking For
โข 5+ years of B2B sales experience, including national account management.
โข Drive growth by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities in Water Treatment, Pool Chemicals, and Janitorial/Sanitary Cleaning market segments.
โข Proven success growing DTC/eCommerce sales channels (Amazon, Shopify, direct platforms).
โข Comfortable leading strategy across reps, brokers, and multi-tier distribution models.
โข Willing to travel up to 50% and work fully onsite (no hybrid/remote).
โข Bachelor's degree required.
Location: Onsite โ Midwest U.S. (relocation assistance available)
