Role description
Are you a sales leader with a deep understanding of water management systems โ€” and the know-how to drive growth across both distribution networks and direct-to-consumer eCommerce? This opportunity is with a well-established manufacturer of essential water-related products trusted in both residential and industrial settings. With a strong reputation in the market and a renewed investment in omnichannel expansion, they are looking for a Director of Sales who can lead and scale nationwide growth through: โ€ข Strategic distributor relationships โ€ข Broker and rep networks โ€ข National eCommerce platforms โ€ข Direct-to-consumer (DTC) initiatives This is not a role for someone whoโ€™s only worked inside one sales channel โ€” we need a leader who can orchestrate across multiple routes to market and understands the technical value proposition behind water system components and products. What Youโ€™ll Own โ€ข Develop and execute nationwide sales strategies across distribution, DTC, and eCommerce platforms โ€ข Manage key accounts: distributors, reps, brokers, and retail partners โ€ข Lead budgeting, forecasting, and territory development alongside the VP of Sales โ€ข Proven ability to discover and leverage untapped opportunities in Water Treatment, Pool Chemicals, and Janitorial/Sanitary Cleaning markets. โ€ข Represent the company at industry events and trade shows โ€ข Work onsite with the internal team to align operations and product teams with go-to-market strategy What Theyโ€™re Looking For โ€ข 5+ years of B2B sales experience, including national account management. โ€ข Drive growth by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities in Water Treatment, Pool Chemicals, and Janitorial/Sanitary Cleaning market segments. โ€ข Proven success growing DTC/eCommerce sales channels (Amazon, Shopify, direct platforms). โ€ข Comfortable leading strategy across reps, brokers, and multi-tier distribution models. โ€ข Willing to travel up to 50% and work fully onsite (no hybrid/remote). โ€ข Bachelor's degree required.
