SHOPLINE’s Sales team is growing! As a Sales Engineer at SHOPLINE, you will provide pre-sales technical support and contribute to the success of our ecommerce - Retail services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze business needs, and deliver technical expertise to ensure customer satisfaction. What you will be doing: β€’ Understand the business needs of our partners and sales team, and analyze requirements related to ecommerce - Retail services. β€’ Provide pre-sales technical support, guiding partners and sales team members in understanding the functionality and structure of our services. β€’ Collaborate with internal teams to develop technical specifications and make appropriate recommendations to meet customer requirements. β€’ Attend customer meetings and deliver technical content and presentations to showcase our solutions effectively. β€’ Verify and sign off on solution design, configuration, interoperability, and assess delivery costs for effective project execution. β€’ Establish and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with customers and stakeholders throughout the sales process. β€’ Research and understand user needs, incorporating insights into the development of tailored solutions. β€’ Stay updated on the competitive landscape, market trends, and evolving customer needs, aligning them with the company's mission and vision. Who you are: β€’ A passionate individual excited about driving business growth and contributing to a global platform. β€’ University graduate with at least 3 years of experience in sales engineering, preferably in the e-commerce/SAAS industry, β€’ Strong knowledge of software programming languages is a must, enabling effective technical support. β€’ Previous experience in a startup environment is highly desirable, showcasing adaptability and a proactive approach. β€’ Structured thinking and exceptional technical writing skills to convey complex concepts clearly. β€’ Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, fostering a cohesive and productive working environment. β€’ Adaptive nature, capable of thriving in ambiguity and a fast-paced environment, demonstrating resilience and a solution-oriented mindset. β€’ High attention to detail, with excellent organization and coordination skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. β€’ Strong multitasking abilities, enabling efficient handling of multiple tasks and prioritization based on importance. β€’ Curiosity and genuine interest in technology and new product developments, staying abreast of industry advancements. β€’ This position may require flexibility with scheduling, including evenings and weekends.
