Role: SFCC Technical Lead Location: Leeds, UK Duration: Contract Job Description: Your responsibilities: • Responsible for leading the technical design, development, and implementation of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) solutions with a strong focus on Progressive Web Applications (PWA) technology. • Overseeing a team of developers while ensuring high-quality, scalable, and performant e-commerce experiences on the platform; requiring extensive expertise in SFCC architecture, PWA development practices, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. • Performing design, debug, and performance analysis on solutions. Documenting and sharing best practice knowledge for new solutions. • Share knowledge with the team and help mentor newer developers. • Impact assessment of high priority /critical enhancement request and track solution delivery end to end. • Learn new technology PWA/MRT and Salesforce B2C via self-learning Key skills/knowledge/experience: • Experience with 1-2 e2e Transformation e-commerce program in retail industry. • Realtime enterprise grade websites within a large delivery project/ team using React.js (Next.js), Node.js (Express.js), Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud (SFRA, SCAPI, SLAS), Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS 3, Media Query • Working experience of state management frameworks (Redux, etc.) • Experience of building & deploying with serverless frameworks • Strong understanding of code quality, security and performance considerations • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment • Awareness of Progressive Web Application (PWA / Composable) website development • Working experience of integrating 3rd part applications using RESTful services • Strong knowledge of payment gateway integrations Good to have: • Good knowledge of Salesforce Admin, Salesforce Commerce Cloud(B2C). • Experience in using design tools like Figma • Experience in using collaboration tools like Storybook • Familiar with Microsoft Azure Cloud • Familiar with DevSecOps practices • Working experience in highly transactional eCommerce websites development • Awareness of Progressive Web Application (PWA / Composable) website development • Awareness of search, CMS, SEO, analytics integrations
