About The Job • Reporting into the Sr. Sales Director, this role will manage domestic department stores, e-commerce, and close out accounts (including Bloomingdales, Von Maur, Shopbop, and Zappos) • Prospect new business opportunities on the strategic level that align with brand direction • Forecast retailers' business by division by month, advise on seasonal forecast needs • Mitigate risk by analyzing turns and overall health of retailers' business • Manage order book in partnership with order fulfillment team • Conduct pre-line meetings with select accounts, compile feedback and projections for merch and planning teams • Use reporting to analyze selling data on a weekly basis, identifying opportunities within the accounts by division, by class, by door, and channel • Drive incremental business with smu programs and concepts • Conduct quarterly meetings both digitally, in person on the road, and at trade shows • Attend both national and regional tradeshows, conferences, and sales meetings • Help plan and execute retail-marketing initiatives with retailers alongside wholesale marketing manager, track ROI, and advise on future marketing needs About You • The ideal candidate is based near Los Angeles or New York City but open to remote candidates • 5+ years of experience in sales, buying, or sales analysis • Bachelor's degree required • Familiarity with apparel, specifically contemporary, athleisure market and Beyond Yoga brand • Knowledge and understanding of retail math, retail reporting, forecasting, and analyzing sell thru data. Must be able to use pivot tables, vlookups or xlookups. • Strong understanding of merchandising and how to build impactful assortments by region and by door type • Ability to create strategic business plans/decks in preparation for sell in • Ideally brings strong relationships with buyers in the territory • Bonus if you're well versed in Sharepoint, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Vendor Portals, Qlik, Skypad and Nuorder This is a hybrid position based in our Culver City, CA headquarters. You will be expected in office 3 days per week typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on business needs. The expected starting salary range for this role is $77,100 - $102,700 per year. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role.
