The Role The Senior Amazon Vendor Central Account Manager will lead the strategic execution and day-to-day operations for our Amazon Vendor Central 1P accounts and possibly 3P Seller Central Accounts as well. This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of Amazon Retail (1P), strong data and operational skills, and experience navigating the nuances of working directly with online retail platforms like Amazon. Key Responsibilities β€’ Own end-to-end Vendor Central management for Amazon, including forecasting, Amazon PO management, co-op negotiations, and chargeback resolution. β€’ Develop and implement promotional strategies, A+ content enhancements, and brand store improvements. β€’ Monitor and manage KPIs such as sales performance, operational health, customer reviews, and margin targets. β€’ Lead retail negotiations, co-op/marketing budgets, and vendor funding discussions in collaboration with internal stakeholders. β€’ Collaborate with supply chain, finance, and marketing teams to ensure accurate inventory, POs, and profitability. β€’ Analyze weekly and monthly performance data using tools such as Retail Analytics, Helium 10, or other marketplace insights platforms. β€’ Proactively identify growth opportunities, address risks, and optimize listings for both organic and paid visibility. β€’ Manage platform compliance issues, including chargebacks, shortages, and operational scorecard improvements. β€’ Maintain strong relationships with Amazon retail contacts (Vendor Managers) to resolve issues and capitalize on strategic initiatives. Qualifications β€’ 5+ years of experience managing Amazon Vendor Central accounts at a senior or lead level. β€’ Deep understanding of Amazon Retail operations, vendor negotiations, and item setup workflows. β€’ Strong working knowledge of retail analytics platforms (Amazon Retail Analytics, Helium 10, Jungle Scout, etc.). β€’ Proficient in Excel and data analysis with the ability to translate metrics into actionable insights. β€’ Experience with digital merchandising, A+ content development, and SEO optimization for marketplaces. β€’ Proven success managing large SKU catalogs and driving year-over-year sales growth on 1P platforms. β€’ Excellent communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills. β€’ Prior experience in a CPG, DTC, or omni-channel brand environment is preferred. Bonus Points β€’ Experience with Seller Central Account Management. β€’ Familiarity with Walmart platforms. β€’ Experience with international Amazon marketplaces (CA, UK, EU) is a plus.
