We’re looking for an experienced off‑price buyer who thrives on finding incredible deals, building vendor relationships, and negotiating win‑win outcomes. This is a high‑impact role where you’ll have the freedom to run your business, supported by a strong team that handles merchandising, logistics, and marketing so you can focus on sourcing and negotiating. What we’re looking for: • Deep experience in closeout, liquidation, or surplus buying (retail or e‑commerce). • Strong retail math skills and the ability to assess margins and risks on the fly. • A love for negotiation, curiosity about products, and the drive to move quickly on opportunities. Core Qualifications • Surplus/Closeout Expertise: Proven experience in liquidation, surplus, and closeout buying • Retail Math Proficiency: Strong understanding of retail metrics, margin calculations, and inventory turn analysis • Product Knowledge: Broad understanding of consumer product categories and market dynamics • Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated ability to negotiate with conviction and assess deal risks • Adaptability: Comfortable with change, ambiguity, and fast-paced decision making Stand out from the rest with these qualifications: E-commerce Business Ownership (eBay/Amazon/Walmart) or Wholesale/Distribution Liquidation Experience: • Experience sourcing products and managing supplier relationships • Understanding of online marketplace dynamics and pricing strategies • Knowledge of inventory management, fulfillment, and logistics • Familiarity with product photography, listing optimization, and customer demand analysis • Experience calculating profit margins, ROI, and managing cash flow If this sounds like you (or someone you know), let’s connect.
