What you’ll do: As a Senior Buyer, you’ll take the lead in defining and executing the buying strategy for your category. You will be responsible for driving commercial performance through strategic vendor partnerships, assortment planning, and trend-led product selection. The ideal candidate will be commercially sharp, product-savvy, and customer-obsessed — with a clear vision on how to build a relevant and profitable assortment for our digital-first audience. • Own the category strategy in line with company objectives and customer needs • Lead the end-to-end buying process: from range planning and selection to negotiations, pricing, and go-to-market execution • Identify and cultivate strong vendor relationships, ensuring alignment with brand and commercial goals • Negotiate commercial terms to optimize margin, stock efficiency, and supplier performance • Use data-led insights to guide product decisions, analyze sales, and identify risks or opportunities to trade the category effectively • Monitor key KPIs (sales, margin, stock cover, sell-throughs) and take action to deliver on targets • Work closely with Planning, Marketing, Content, and Operations teams to ensure seamless go-live and product launches • Stay ahead of fashion and consumer trends to shape the product direction of the category • Represent Namshi at key buying events, markets, and trade shows when necessary • Coach, mentor, and develop junior team members to grow category knowledge and commercial acumen What you’ll need: • Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion, or a related field • Minimum 5+ years of relevant buying experience, preferably in fashion retail or e-commerce • Strong industry knowledge with a good understanding of the competitive landscape and consumer behavior • Exceptional negotiation and relationship management skills • A strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities • Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and comfortable working with data and reporting tools • A keen eye for product and trends, with strong commercial judgment • Excellent organizational and project management skills • Clear and confident communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders Who will excel?
