Role description
Our client is a leading fashion high street player. They're looking for a Senior Content Lead.
Hybrid - 4 days in the London-based office
Salary: up to 75K
You must have experience leading all creative activity across 'bricks and mortar' stores as well as online.
Direct reports: x2 copy writers, Styling Manager, Videographer, Fashion director and a Junior Art
Director.
You'll report to the Creative Director and will be responsible for the delivery of consistently compelling and engaging content, bringing the brand and product vision to life. Great visual storytelling will lie at the heart of all you do.
We want to create a fashion buzz around every piece of content we create. Owning fashion trends starting conversations and tapping into cultural moments.
You'll will be responsible for building the creative content strategy and working cross-functionally and collaboratively with the other creative and brand stakeholders to deliver seasonal campaign narratives, delivering market-leading content in line with the business objectives and marketing calendar.
You'll manage the content team, overseeing everything from initial content ideation, shoot and video concept through to delivery and be the guardian of our tone of voice across all channels.
You'll ensure that a consistent tone of voice and visual identity across all touchpoints is maintained with the brand’s personality shining through every piece of content.
You will build strong relationships with our customers through exciting and engaging content that is always relevant and relatable.
You'll play a critical role in shaping the brand’s visual identity, ensuring that all creative assets reflect the brand's values and resonate with our target audience, creating Brand love.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
• Develop and implement a content strategy that aligns with the brands objectives, seasonal campaigns, product launches, and promotions.
Constantly looking for new and innovative ways to do things. Exploring all new technologies.
• Working closely with the Creative Director on the delivery of seasonal ‘feeling and zeitgeist’ and collaborating with the other creative stakeholders on campaign delivery, you will be responsible for building the narrative and bringing this to life to be used by all channels.
• Utilise data to inform but not dictate strategic editorial decisions.
• Be an effective cross-team collaborator with the ability to foster productive internal relationships including but not limited to Creative, Design, Styling, brand marketing, digital commerce, VM, design, social and studio.
• Lead and manage all team deadlines across Art Direction, Copy and Videography.
Content
• Working closely with Creative, Design, Brand, Marketing, and E-commerce teams to develop content that effectively supports the brand objectives bringing them to life in engaging and exciting ways to build a relationship with our customers. Delivering a cohesive customer journey linking all touchpoints with a consistent aesthetic and narrative thread.
• Plan and execute the seasonal content calendar, ensuring content is on-brand, inspiring and balanced, and aligns with key commercial levers
• Oversee end-to-end content production, from initial concept through to post-production, ensuring all assets are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Educating and inspiring the customer on the newest fashion trends whilst remaining friendly and inspirational.
Copy
• Driving the content across channels and collaborating with the wider teams such as Brand, CRM, Marketing, Publishing and Retail on seasonal planning and post-season feedback of what worked and what could work even better.
• Leading the copywriters, you will be the guardian of the brands tone of voice, and act as the gatekeeper of our language across our digital and physical retail platforms (both national and international).
• Overseeing the copy writers to create consistently compelling copy for our brand touchpoints including digital and retail, providing a framework for our brand identity and campaigns
• Be responsible for the articulation of our ESG narrative, with a specific focus on threading our ‘Kind’ proposition across customer, corporate and colleague comms. Working closely with Brand, legal and our sustainability team to ensure our Kind communications are in line with latest legislation.
• Maintain a consistent tone of voice and visual identity across all touchpoints, ensuring the brand stays ahead of fashion trends, cultural moments, and digital innovations to ensure our content is fresh, relevant, and engaging.
Art Direction
• You'll partner with the Creative Director for the conception of all photographic shoots ensuring that they deliver the creative and product vision including everything from campaigns through to weekly product pushes. Working with the production teams on creation and execution whilst aligning with critical paths for pre and postproduction.
• Manage and inspire the content team, of Art directors, Copy writers and Videographers ensuring high performance, collaboration, and innovation. Creating an open culture of feedback and ideas and actively enabling progression.
• Ability to prepare for and lead a team on photographic shoots from concepting ensuring initial vision is landed and working cross collaboratively to ensure all business objectives and briefs are met.
• Responsible for ensuring that shoots are concepted in line with budgets and working cross collaboratively to deliver against targets.
• Make the brands personality shine through every piece of content giving us standout in a crowded space.

• Previously devised and delivered end-to-end content strategies and tone of voice guides, encompassing both online and offline platforms.
• Strong understanding of fashion, retail, and e-commerce industries, including emerging trends and digital best practices.
• Ability to translate business goals into engaging and impactful content strategies delivering to business and financial objectives.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
• A proven track record of driving significant traffic growth across all digital channels.
• A strong understanding of trends in photographic and videography trends across all platforms including Tik Tok. You know what is coming next.
