Role Summary
We're looking for a seasoned analytics professional who excels at transforming raw data into reliable, actionable insights. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining our data transformation layer using modern tools like dbt, while also delivering high-impact analysis across customer behavior, product performance, and business operations. This role combines hands-on technical data work with strategic analytics leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Data Transformation & Modeling
β’ Design and implement data transformation pipelines using dbt to create clean, reliable datasets for analysis
β’ Build and maintain dimensional data models that support consistent reporting across the organization
β’ Develop automated data quality tests and validation frameworks to ensure data integrity
β’ Create reusable data marts and analytics tables that serve multiple business functions
β’ Optimize SQL queries and transformation logic for performance and maintainability
β’ Establish data lineage documentation and governance practices
ETL Development & Maintenance
β’ Build and manage ETL processes that integrate data from e-commerce platforms, marketing tools, and operational systems
β’ Design efficient data extraction workflows from APIs, databases, and third-party services
β’ Implement incremental loading strategies and change data capture processes
β’ Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline failures, ensuring reliable data delivery
β’ Collaborate with engineering teams to improve source system data quality and structure
Analytics & Reporting
β’ Develop comprehensive dashboards and reporting solutions that track key business metrics
β’ Conduct deep-dive analyses on customer segmentation, product performance, and operational efficiency
β’ Lead A/B test design and statistical analysis to measure marketing and product initiatives
β’ Create executive-level reports and presentations that communicate findings to leadership
β’ Build self-service analytics capabilities that empower non-technical teams
Required Qualifications
β’ Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, or related field
β’ 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics roles
β’ Advanced proficiency with dbt for data transformation and modeling
β’ Strong experience building ETL pipelines using tools like Airflow, Fivetran, Stitch, or custom solutions
β’ Expert-level SQL skills with experience in data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
β’ Proficiency in Python or R for statistical analysis and data manipulation
β’ Experience with business intelligence tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or Mode)
β’ Strong understanding of dimensional modeling and data warehouse design principles
β’ Proven track record of delivering analytics that drive business decisions
