Role description
About Inner Balance
Inner Balance is a women-founded telehealth company specializing in personalized, prescription-strength bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (HRT). Through treatments like its flagship Oestra™ vaginal cream, Inner Balance supports women through perimenopause, menopause, PCOS, endometriosis, postpartum recovery, and other hormone-related health challenges.
About the Role
We’re looking for a highly skilled and hands-on Senior Designer to lead the development and execution of our visual identity across digital, packaging, and brand campaigns. This role is ideal for a design-driven leader who thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments and knows how to translate brand strategy into high-performing creative work that fuels business growth.
As a core leader in our creative organization, you’ll be responsible for elevating how our DTC brand shows up—from site experience and campaign creative to packaging and social. You’ll work cross-functionally with teams across Marketing, E-commerce, and Product to ensure we’re delivering beautiful, effective design across the entire customer journey.
Key Responsibilities
• Own and evolve the brand’s creative direction across all DTC touchpoints, including website, email, digital advertising, packaging, and organic content
•
• Partner closely with E-commerce and Marketing teams to concept and execute high-impact campaigns and product launches that drive conversion
•
• Design and oversee on-site experiences, from homepage takeovers and PDP layouts to seasonal landing pages and UX enhancements
•
• Maintain and expand a scalable design system to ensure visual consistency across platforms and mediums
•
• Direct creative agencies, freelance talent, and production vendors as needed
•
• Work closely with executive leadership to align creative direction with overall business and brand strategy
•
• Present work confidently to internal stakeholders, articulating the "why" behind the design
•
• Champion a balance between performance-driven design and brand storytelling
Qualifications
• 5-7 years in a design-related role
• Strong background in DTC and e-commerce design, with a portfolio that demonstrates excellence in both web and graphic design
•
• Deep experience designing for digital commerce: email, paid media, landing pages, and full-funnel experiences
•
• Strong typographic sensibilities, layout skills, and attention to detail
•
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma
•
• Solid understanding of UI/UX best practices and modern web design principles
•
• Experience developing and working within design systems
•
• Experience with packaging design and translating brand identity to physical product
•
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced startup environment
•
• Proven success collaborating with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver business-impacting creative
•
• Comfortable wearing multiple hats and shifting between hands-on work and high-level strategy
Compensation:
• Competitive Salary + Equity
• Salary range: $150-$170k
• Bonus Eligible
• Unlimited PTO
• Fully Remote Workplace
