Role description
WEKA is transforming how organizations build, run, and scale AI and accelerated compute workflows with NeuralMesh™, our intelligent, adaptive mesh storage system. Unlike traditional data infrastructures, which become more fragile as compute environments grow and performance demands increase, NeuralMesh becomes faster, stronger, and more efficient as it scales, providing a flexible, adaptable foundation for enterprise and agentic AI innovation that maximizes GPU utilization, accelerates time to first token, and lowers the cost of innovation. WEKA is a pre-IPO, growth-stage company backed by world-class venture capital investors and AI infrastructure industry leaders. Our technology, purpose-built for AI, has garnered over 140 patents and is trusted by more than 30% of Fortune 50 enterprises, as well as the world’s leading hyperscalers, neoclouds, and AI innovators. Our team is customer-obsessed and works accountably, boldly, and collaboratively to ensure their success. If we sound like your kind of people, join us! About The Role WEKA is looking for a strategic and data-driven Senior Digital Optimization Manager to lead technical optimization, experimentation, and search performance across our digital ecosystem. This role focuses on the technical delivery and optimization of content created by our content teams - ensuring that our digital properties not only convert effectively but also perform optimally in both traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered discovery platforms. Reporting to the Senior Director of Digital Marketing, you'll be empowered to lead programs that drive measurable outcomes across traffic, engagement, and conversion. As the digital landscape shifts toward AI-first search, you'll help WEKA stay ahead of the curve by optimizing our content delivery for visibility in AI-generated search results and summaries—from platforms like Google SGE and Perplexity to ChatGPT and other LLM-powered interfaces. This is a highly collaborative role that connects technical SEO, web experimentation, and personalization optimization with our broader digital marketing efforts. You'll work closely with content and creative teams, web developers, and technical marketers to ensure that content produced by others is technically optimized and delivered in ways that maximize performance across every stage of the customer journey. Who We’re Looking For Our ideal candidate is a technical optimization expert with deep expertise in SEO implementation, experimentation, and a growing understanding of AI-driven search optimization. You excel at taking content created by others and optimizing how it's structured, delivered, and discovered. You're excited about the technical challenge of making WEKA's digital experience not only high-converting, but also discoverable in emerging AI-driven environments. You think strategically about technical implementation and work cross-functionally, ensuring that optimization efforts align with broader marketing and revenue goals. You know how to translate complex technical concepts into actionable improvements—and work across teams to get them implemented and adopted. You thrive in close partnership with content and creative teams, developers, and especially our Senior Manager of Web Experience—working together to ensure that every piece of content is optimally structured and delivered. What You’ll Be Working On • Lead website experimentation strategies, including A/B and multivariate testing, to improve conversion rates and key funnel metrics across all digital properties • Optimize content delivery architecture, working with content teams to ensure proper technical implementation of SEO best practices without creating the content strategy itself • Execute advanced personalization strategies using our personalization platform and behavioral/firmographic data to tailor content experiences for target audiences • Manage and execute comprehensive SEO strategy, including technical SEO, on-page optimization, and structured data implementation to maximize content discoverability • Partner closely with the Senior Manager of Web Experience to ensure all optimizations align with overall UX strategy, design systems, and technical implementation standards • Implement structured data and schema markup to enhance how search engines and AI systems interpret and surface our content • Develop and lead WEKA's LLM/GEO optimization strategy to improve content visibility in AI-powered search platforms (Google SGE, Perplexity, ChatGPT) • Optimize content delivery for YouTube and video platforms by implementing SEO best practices for metadata, transcripts, and discoverability across organic and AI-driven search • Ensure technical optimization strategies are realistic, cross-functionally aligned, and fully integrated into digital operations and campaign workflows • Monitor and analyze website performance and testing outcomes, delivering actionable insights for continuous improvement of content delivery and user experience • Stay current with industry trends across SEO, CRO, personalization, AI search, and emerging optimization technologies • Work cross-functionally with content and creative teams, web development, demand gen, and technical marketers to implement optimizations efficiently and effectively Qualifications • 10+ years of experience in digital marketing, with deep expertise in technical SEO, website optimization, experimentation, and performance personalization. Experience with generative engine optimization (GEO) and AI-driven discovery platforms is highly desirable. • Expert-level knowledge of SEO tools and implementation (Google Search Console, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, schema markup tools) • Proven ability to lead comprehensive SEO strategy and execution independently, including technical audits and implementation • Advanced experience with experimentation platforms, including A/B testing design, implementation, and statistical analysis (we currently use Optimizely) • Strong technical skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and structured data implementation • Experience with personalization tools and audience segmentation approaches, particularly in B2B technology environments • Proficiency in web analytics platforms (GA4, Adobe Analytics) and creating reporting dashboards that demonstrate optimization impact • Demonstrated knowledge of LLM/GEO optimization techniques and experience with or strong interest in optimizing for AI-powered search platforms • Understanding of Account-Based Marketing (ABM/ABX) strategies and how technical optimization supports targeted customer experiences • Project management expertise with the ability to manage multiple technical initiatives simultaneously while maintaining quality and deadline adherence • Strong collaboration and communication skills for working across technical and non-technical teams • Demonstrated ability to optimize content delivery without being responsible for content creation or strategy development OPTIONAL - Bonus Points • Hands-on experience with enterprise-level A/B testing platforms beyond Optimizely (VWO, Adobe Target) • Advanced knowledge of LLM/GEO optimization techniques and emerging AI search platforms • Experience with headless CMS platforms or supporting website migrations while preserving SEO performance • Familiarity with international SEO and multi-region optimization strategies Background in technology or enterprise software marketing environments preferred, but not required How We Work: The WEKA Way • We are Accountable: We take full ownership, always–even when things don’t go as planned. We lead with integrity, show up with responsibility & ownership, and hold ourselves and each other to the highest standards. • We are Brave: We question the status quo, push boundaries, and take smart risks when needed. We welcome challenges and embrace debates as opportunities for growth, turning courage into fuel for innovation. • We are Collaborative: True collaboration isn’t only about working together. It’s about lifting one another up to succeed collectively. We are team-oriented and we communicate with empathy and respect. We challenge each other and conduct positive conflict resolution. We are being transparent about our goals and the results we achieve. Together, we’re unstoppable. • We are Customer Centric: Our customers are at the heart of everything we do. We actively listen and prioritize the success of our customers, and every decision we make is driven by how we can better serve, support, and empower them to succeed. When our customers win, we win.
