What We're Looking For Travelpro is seeking a Senior Director, eCommerce to lead and scale our digital commerce business across direct-to-consumer and online channels. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role will be responsible for defining and executing a growth strategy that drives revenue and profitability, enhances the customer journey, and strengthens Travelpro’s omnichannel presence. The role will oversee DTC growth, marketplace strategies (excluding Amazon, which remains a partnership account), and digital innovation including CRM, UX/UI, AI, and global expansion initiatives. What You'll Do Digital Strategy & Leadership • Define and execute the long-term vision for Travelpro’s eCommerce business, aligned with enterprise growth goals. • Report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and serve as a key member of the Marketing leadership team. • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team consisting of a site experience manager, two digital merchandisers, CRM/retention marketing manager, analytics manager and two eCommerce operations specialists (along with external email/sms agency, affiliate agency, and external dev/ops support). • Build and foster an entrepreneurial test-and-learn culture, including ongoing A/B testing and pushing boundaries to pilot new digital experiences • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Operations to integrate eCommerce into Travelpro’s broader brand and retail strategies. Direct-to-Consumer Growth • Own the P&L for Travelpro.com with accountability for revenue, margin, and customer acquisition and retention. • Drive performance across the funnel — optimizing traffic, conversion, AOV, CLV, and retention. • Expand and optimize CRM programs, leveraging Klaviyo and AI-driven engagement to deliver personalization and lifecycle marketing. • Lead affiliate program strategy and partnerships to unlock incremental growth and expand reach. Marketplace Strategy & Omnichannel Partnerships • Lead eCommerce marketplace strategy across accounts such as Walmart.com, Costco.com, and other digital retailers to accelerate incremental revenue growth. • Partner with Sales in supporting Amazon as a key account, in order to influence brand consistency and performance. • Collaborate with Sales and retail partners (e.g., Macy’s, specialty retailers) to advance Travelpro’s omnichannel strategy. Customer Experience, UX/UI & Platform Innovation • Ensure Travelpro.com delivers a premium, seamless customer experience across desktop and mobile. • Lead UX/UI optimization focused on conversion rate optimization (CRO), design, and site experience. • Collaborate with external partners and agencies to evolve the eCommerce platform, enabling innovation in personalization, loyalty, and digital storytelling. • Guide implementation of CMS and PIM systems to streamline content, product data, and scalability for global expansion. Data, AI, & Technology Infrastructure • Oversee development of data infrastructure, including analytics tools, CRM systems, and integrations with operations • Deploy AI-driven insights and tools to enhance personalization, predictive analytics, campaign optimization, and creative automation. • Ensure data-driven decision making by leveraging Meta Ads, Google Ads, and other digital platforms to drive efficient acquisition and ROI. Global Expansion • Develop and implement frameworks for global eCommerce expansion, including localization, compliance, logistics integration, and scalable campaign execution. • Partner with cross-functional teams and external providers to support high-growth international market entry. Operations & Performance • Partner with Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Operations to deliver efficient fulfillment, reliable delivery, and excellent customer service. • Establish and manage KPIs tied to revenue acceleration, CLV, CAC, ROI, and retention. • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and investment priorities for eCommerce initiatives. What You'll Need • 12+ years of progressive eCommerce and digital marketing leadership experience, with significant P&L accountability. • Demonstrated success scaling a direct-to-consumer business in consumer goods, retail, or lifestyle brands. • Deep expertise in eCommerce operations, CRM, UX/UI, performance marketing, affiliates, and site optimization. • Experience leading marketplace strategies across Walmart, Costco, and other major digital retailers. • Proven track record leveraging AI tools for personalization, analytics, and campaign optimization. • Strong financial acumen and ability to balance growth with profitability. • Excellent communication, influencing, and cross-functional leadership skills. Preferred Experience • Background in premium consumer goods, travel, or lifestyle categories. • Experience with Amazon account management as part of broader omnichannel partnerships. • Global eCommerce expansion. • Familiarity with Shopify Plus, Klaviyo, Meta Ads, and Google Ads.
