Senior Director of Growth – DTC & Subscription Packaging Solutions
Location: Remote
An employee-owned packaging innovator is launching a dedicated business line focused on direct-to-consumer (DTC) ecommerce and subscription-box brands. They need a proven growth leader who can carve out whitespace, land flagship accounts, and scale revenues toward an eight-figure run-rate in year one. Reporting to the C-suite, you will architect the go-to-market playbook, win high-value logos, and build the team that propels this green-field venture. This Role Offers:

Focus:
• Map the market. Segment DTC, marketplace, and subscription-box verticals, quantify total addressable spend, and position offerings that resonate with founders, brand managers, and ops leaders.
• Own the full cycle. Prospect, pitch, negotiate, and close complex packaging, kitting, and fulfillment programs ranging from pilot orders to national roll-outs.
• Stand up infrastructure. Build sales processes, playbooks, and reporting frameworks to support aggressive year-one and year-two targets.
• Recruit and mentor. Hire, coach, and motivate SDRs and AEs as revenues climb.
• Collaborate cross-functionally. Align with design, manufacturing, and logistics to ensure solutions are operationally feasible and margin-positive.
• Manage performance. Define KPIs, forecast pipeline health, and present data-driven insights to senior leadership.
Skill Set:
• 7+ years of progressive success in sales or business development within packaging, ecommerce enablement, fulfillment, logistics, or closely related sectors.
• Track record of closing new business with ecommerce or subscription brands generating $10 million+ in annual revenue and growing those relationships.
• Strong grasp of unboxing experience, sustainable materials, and supply-chain pain points unique to fast-growth DTC firms.
• Hunter mentality balanced by a consultative style—able to translate technical packaging capabilities into tangible business outcomes.
• Experience building a new business line or scaling a team is highly desirable.
• Ability to travel up to 30–35 percent for key client meetings, trade shows, and team summits.
