The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025. Responsibilities Job Description • Deeply understand the digital platform ecosystem of products and services; define and analyze metrics that evaluate the trajectory and inform the success of direct to consumer revenue streams including transactional eCommerce and video and streaming services and B2B revenue streams including technology services, payments services, and advertising and sponsorships • Manage team responsible for financial modeling and the development of financial goals and KPIs in budgets/forecasts/long range planning, tracking performance against goals, and providing recommendations for improvement • Build ad sales finance function to support expanding advertising business; track and analyze portfolio advertising performance, working closely with the internal sales team and external sales partners as well as ad sales planning and operations to execute on portfolio sales strategy and optimize campaign delivery and revenue performance • Collaborate across the organization to influence the development of business strategies and provide insights to support financial objectives, ensuring alignment and cohesive strategies that drive revenue and accelerate business growth • Drive accountability through regular updates on business performance against KPIs, measuring the effectiveness of product, marketing, and business initiatives and presenting to all levels of the company ensuring transparency and partnership Leadership and Culture • Bring a collaborative, hands-on approach to the work • Promote a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables • Develop open communication and productive work relationships with senior leadership, operations leads, and the broader finance and data teams Qualifications 10+ years of progressive finance and analytics experience, preferably in the ecommerce, direct to consumer, or media entertainment industry • Strong financial and analytical skills including ability to create complex financial models and efficiently communicate results • A great storyteller and communicator that can build relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders and clearly distill the essence of technical work to audiences of all levels and across multiple functional areas • Demonstrated leadership ability in building and mentoring a high performing team • Must be comfortable working in an environment that requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, management of deadlines and ability to multitask • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required, with experience in data visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau a plus Additional Information As part of our selection process, external candidates may be required to attend an in-person interview with an NBCUniversal employee at one of our locations prior to a hiring decision.
