The Senior Director of SMB Commercial Excellence & Transformation will lead the global execution and
transformation of the SMB/Mid-Market commercial operating model across multiple business units, including Print, Scan, and Supplies. This position plays a pivotal role in shaping and orchestrating scalable go-to-market frameworks, integrating product portfolios, and aligning cross-functional execution across regions to drive incremental revenue growth at improved margins.
This individual will partner with country teams, supply chain, sales, product, and channel teams to ensure that offerings are positioned effectively, priced appropriately, and delivered through optimal distribution channels. Simultaneously, this role will lead the institutionalization of a modular and repeatable commercial transformation model—bridging vision to execution while enabling adoption, alignment, and operational excellence
• Ideal candidate will work a hybrid schedule (3 x min in office) in our Holtsville, NY office. No relocation offered.
Any remote considered candidate will be required to move to Holtsville, NY area within year 1 of employment.
• Responsibilities:
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
• Develop and institutionalize commercial transformation frameworks across the enterprise.
• Drive global go-to-market execution for SMB/mid-market solutions across business units.
• Collaborate with BU leaders to integrate portfolios and align commercial strategies.
• Optimize multi-tier distribution models, including BTR (Buy-to-Resell), VAR, and e-commerce.
• Coach and support functional and regional leaders in applying commercial excellence methodologies.
• Lead the design and execution of capability-building initiatives around people, process, and tools.
• Orchestrate transformation portfolios and roadmap implementation, measuring value realization.
• Embed change management best practices to ensure adoption across geographies and business functions.
• Provide governance structure for cross-BU transformation initiatives.
• Facilitate alignment across product, sales, operations, marketing, and IT to enable commercial goals.
• Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies and digital tools into commercial workflows.
• Work with IT and analytics teams to guide system and platform selections supporting GTM scale.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Strategy, or related field or equivalent work experience ideally in commercial operations and GTM strategy.
• 10+ years of experience in commercial operations, GTM strategy, or business transformation in a global B2B environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Proven experience driving commercial execution through matrixed organizations.
• Track record managing transformation initiatives with measurable impact.
• Deep understanding of channel ecosystems (BTR, VAR, e-commerce) and supply chain dynamics.
• Strong strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and execution discipline.
• Experience influencing across business units and geographic regions.
• Experience in B2B Hardware solutions.
• Familiarity with integrated offerings that span hardware, software, and consumables.
• Working knowledge of commercial systems/tools (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, pricing platforms
• Licenses, Certifications: Formal certification or training in change management, business architecture, or commercial excellence.
