Role description
Job Title: Senior Commercial Manager
Location: Seattle, WA - Hybrid
Duration: 12 months assignment with high possibility of extension
Daily Responsibilities:
• Own the ecommerce commercial model, including forecasting, margin optimization, and profitability tracking.
• Drive ecommerce ROI, through strategic investments and performance optimization.
• Analyze and report on ecommerce KPIs, including traffic, conversion, AOV, retention, transaction growth and Rewards membership growth.
• Lead pricing and promotional strategy, using data-driven insights to optimize performance across product categories, including the coffee subscription experience
• Drive performance analytics for pilot programs, informing demand planning, replenishment, and fulfillment strategies.
• Develop and refine the coffee subscription model, including pricing, bundling, and retention metrics.
• Manage integration of the 3rd party FMCG models with ecommerce, ensuring commercial alignment and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with Finance, Tax, and Accounting to ensure accurate reporting and financial governance.
• Partner with digital, technology, product and operations teams to enhance site experience and conversion.
• Monitor and respond to retail, ecommerce, and consumer trends, translating insights into actionable strategies.
• Champion the brand, ensuring commercial decisions align with brand values and consumer expectations.
Technology requirements:
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Ecommerce Platforms- Specifically Shopify
Years experience:
• 7+ years in commercial management, ecommerce, or digital retail
Required background:
• Proven experience in data analytics, financial modeling, and forecasting
• Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms, including Shopify, consumer behavior by segment, and digital marketing
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and external partnerships
• Experience with online subscriptions & pricing
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
