Role description
We are looking for a Senior eCommerce Marketing Leader, you will own and shape the company's marketing strategy across all platforms and channels. From performance marketing to branding, ecommerce experience to creative content, this role touches every part of our growth engine. Responsibilities: Marketing Strategy & Leadership β€’ Lead and execute a comprehensive growth-focused marketing strategy to drive revenue, customer acquisition, and brand recognition across digital and offline channels. β€’ Collaborate with the Chief Visionary Officer (CVO) and marketing team to shape and execute branding strategy, ensuring alignment across visual identity, tone, and photographic style for a cohesive and compelling brand presence. β€’ Maintain flexibility and adaptability-able to pivot strategy based on real-time data and changing business priorities. β€’ Manage internal marketing resources and external freelancers/agencies, balancing speed, quality, and return on investment. Execution & Channel Management β€’ Own omnichannel marketing planning and execution, including paid search, paid social, SEO, email/SMS, retargeting, marketplaces, and affiliate programs. β€’ Oversee the e-commerce experience and partner on conversion rate optimization (CRO), A/B testing, and UX/UI enhancements to drive performance. β€’ Apply a strong understanding of customer segmentation to support targeted marketing efforts and lifecycle strategies. β€’ Advise on marketing tech stack decisions, including automation, segmentation, and personalization tools that support scalable growth. Analytics & Reporting β€’ Leverage data platforms and analytics to inform decision-making; monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), attribution data, and customer insights to optimize spend and strategy. β€’ Provide clear and regular reporting to leadership on marketing performance, growth opportunities, and actionable insights. Cross-functional Collaboration & Project Management β€’ Demonstrate strong project management skills with an ability to initiate, execute, and close out marketing initiatives effectively. β€’ Work cross-functionally with e-commerce, customer success, finance, and operations teams to align marketing efforts with strategic initiatives and product launches. Required Experience & Leadership β€’ Successfully led and scaled e-commerce marketing strategies that drove measurable growth in revenue, conversion, and customer acquisition-ideally across both B2B and B2C channels. β€’ Demonstrated ability to build and manage high-performing marketing teams, with a track record of coaching, mentoring, and getting results through others. β€’ Led multiple projects to completion across channels and departments-excellent at managing timelines, vendors, internal stakeholders, and competing priorities. β€’ Drove cross-functional collaboration with sales, customer success, finance, and operations to execute launches, promotions, and lifecycle initiatives that aligned with company goals. β€’ Managed and optimized marketing budgets, ensuring investment efficiency and alignment with strategic growth goals. Technical & Functional Expertise β€’ Led omnichannel marketing campaigns-including paid search, paid social, email/SMS, retargeting, SEO, affiliate, and marketplaces-while optimizing spend through data-driven iteration. β€’ Owned conversion rate optimization efforts, working hands-on with A/B testing, landing page optimization, and UX improvements to increase e-commerce performance. β€’ Rolled out and optimized performance marketing campaigns with clear ROI; can point to past campaigns where customer acquisition costs dropped or ROAS increased due to your direction. β€’ Deep comfort with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Adobe, Shopify, WooCommerce) and the ability to troubleshoot or guide cross-functional improvements alongside product and dev teams. β€’ Fluent in analyzing marketing KPIs using tools like Google Analytics (GA4), Klaviyo, Meta Ads, and Google Ads to inform budget allocation, targeting, and creative decisions. β€’ Hands-on knowledge of marketing tech stack tools like Klaviyo, GA4, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and similar platforms.
