The Opportunity Woof is seeking a Senior Marketplace Ads Analyst specializing in the analysis of ad campaigns across marketplaces such as Amazon, Chewy, Walmart, and TikTok. This role involves leading and executing ad strategies across e-commerce marketplaces and requires expertise in digital advertising, performance metrics, and analytics to optimize ad campaigns and drive online business growth. The ideal candidate has experience driving growth for a consumer products brand through marketplace advertising. Pet specific experience is preferred. This is a performance-based role focused on maximizing return on ad spend (ROAS, TROAS, ACOS, & TACOS) and driving growth. Responsibilities include strategic planning, overseeing ad operations, analyzing performance data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. What Youโ€™ll Own Marketplace Advertising Strategy & Management: โ— Develop, implement, and manage Amazon advertising campaigns (e.g., Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Display ads, DSP). โ— Conduct thorough keyword research to identify relevant keywords for new product campaigns and optimize existing for maximum impact. โ— Develop and execute ad campaigns to maximize sales and profitability on Walmart, Chewy, TikTok, etc. โ— Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly. โ— Manage end-to-end ad campaigns, including targeting, budgeting, and creative optimization. โ— Utilize data and analytics to identify performance drivers and optimize ROAS, TACOS and other relevant metrics. โ— Implement A/B testing and other strategies to improve ad effectiveness and conversion rates. โ— Utilize learnings from successful campaigns and platforms to maximize efficiencies throughout the paid advertising ecosystem. Cross-Functional Collaboration: โ— Partner with product, supply chain, and finance teams to align new product launch strategies with business capabilities & goals. โ— Work with external ads teams to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all ad platforms. โ— Coordinate with marketing, design and copywriting teams to facilitate best in class ad performance. Reporting & Analytics: โ— Define KPIs and develop dashboards to track ad performance metrics across all marketplaces. โ— Provide regular performance reports and insights to the executive team, with actionable recommendations for ad optimization. What Youโ€™ll Bring to the Table โ— 5+ years of experience in e-commerce/digital marketing with a focus on advertising. โ— At least 2-5 years of experience managing ad campaigns on Amazon, Chewy, Walmart, and/or TikTok. โ— Proven track record of driving sales and profitability through marketplace advertising. โ— Strong analytical skills and experience with ad analytics tools (e.g., Amazon Advertising, TikTok Ads Manager). โ— Understanding of Meta, Google Analytics and marketplace analytics platforms. โ— Knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in e-commerce advertising.
