Speed and scale is at the core of what we do. The Senior Media Strategist role requires an individual who has wide-ranging proficiency in Search Engine Marketing. This role will manage all aspects of Paid Search, including the development of campaign strategies, keyword and market research, full-funnel optimization, and technical audits of client accounts. A proven track record of executing successful campaigns is a must. This role will report to the Lead for Paid Search Strategy and will work closely with a team of marketers who specialize in technical solutions, social media, and data analytics. This role is full-time remote. The Ideal Candidate will have experience with: β€’ Demonstrable experience managing ecommerce and lead acquisition budgets greater than $1M+ a month on Google Search, PMAX, Shopping, YouTube, and Demand-Gen, Video, and Display. β€’ Experience launching and optimizing campaigns in ecommerce and lead-gen is a must. β€’ Understanding of how Creative interacts with audience targeting. β€’ Develop and implement strategies across Google Ads to drive highly targeted consumers to our client’s landing pages while driving a strong performance and acceptable margins for the given budget. β€’ In-depth knowledge of smart bidding within Google Ads, proper signal for optimization, and analysis. β€’ Understanding of how to manipulate data within Google Sheets and Excel. β€’ Experience with measurement and MTA platforms such as GA4, TripleWhale, Northbeam, etc.. β€’ Experience leveraging AI such as ChatGPT, Gemini, etc, for research, generating ad copy and assets, analysis of data, and more. Some Key Responsibilities: β€’ Oversee all aspects of Google Ads and Microsoft Ads accounts with a focus on driving conversions and value via all campaign types. β€’ Continuously test new creatives to improve performance and increase scale. β€’ Create and outline a creative testing methodology that can ramp up our testing velocity. β€’ Gather competitive intel in the market to better inform our strategy and creative ideation. β€’ Execute media and testing plans and measure the impact against business objectives. β€’ Review, analyze, and merge data from Google Ads, GA4, and/or various 3rd party platforms to triangulate KPIs (Example: GP, ROAS, CPA, CPL, etc.) β€’ Provide clients with campaign insights and suggestions for improving overall performance. β€’ Stay up to date with all Google Ads and Microsoft Ads updates, beta programs, and current industry news articles and trends. β€’ Create and improve organization processes, procedures, and systems to support the business’s needs β€’ Takes full ownership of the strategy, dictating the appropriate next steps to achieve objectives. β€’ Proactively build relationships with platform partners, gain insights, and recommendations that result in an increase in efficiency or scale. Also, proactively communicate when partners can improve the support provided to our team. β€’ Create and deploy processes to utilize all available resources (playbook, shared services, AI, etc.) across all paid media channels and own the adherence to processes in collaboration with Leadership. Desired Qualifications: β€’ 5+ years of Google paid ads marketing experience β€’ Advanced knowledge of GA4, platform reporting, and data manipulation β€’ Deep understanding of attribution from various data sources into Google Ads. β€’ Extensive knowledge of ad targeting methodologies and iterative test-and-learn optimization practices. β€’ Exhibits ability to continuously learn, draw actionable insights, and apply them across campaigns. β€’ Sharp eye for detail and organizational skills. β€’ Comfort with ambiguity and with working in a fast-paced, always-on, and ambitious. start-up environment. β€’ Fluency in mathematical concepts. β€’ Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities β€’ High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets, pivot tables, and relevant reporting tools β€’ Competitive/Performance-driven mindset, but also a team player. β€’ Experience and desire to learn and run media on other platforms such as Reddit Ads, NextDoor, Samsung Ads, etc..
