What You’ll Be Doing
The Senior Merchandiser – Online will be responsible for leading and executing daily eCommerce operations for the Nike brand. This includes site merchandising, promotional planning, reporting, product readiness, and omnichannel fulfilment. The role demands strong cross-functional collaboration, strategic thinking, and a high level of ownership to drive commercial success and optimize the digital customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Website Management
• Conduct daily site checks for product availability, link accuracy, and visual merchandising.
• Create and manage category IDs and links (Akeneo).
• Execute visual merchandising updates in Akeneo/SFCC aligned with brand strategy.
• Implement and monitor promotions and price changes.
• Raise and test bugs; perform UATs.
• Review homepage menus and filters to align with global/local trends.
Reporting & Planning
• Prepare daily and weekly trade reports.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles.
• Assist with phasing and splitting revenue and volume budgets.
Omni-Channel Expansion Support
• Execute tasks related to omnichannel fulfilment including buffer updates, store activations, and technical ticketing.
• Provide volume forecasts to warehouse teams.
• Coordinate with catalog teams for seasonal product readiness.
Ad Hoc Operations
• Review size health and flag issues.
• Identify and deactivate products as needed.
• Request inventory transfers across markets.
System Coordination
• Work across systems including Salesforce, Akeneo, and SFCC to ensure seamless execution.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Tech, Ops, Supply Chain, Catalog) to align tasks and resolve issues.
Experience & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 6 years of experience in eCommerce operations, merchandising, or digital trade.
• Proven experience in managing website updates, reporting, and promotional execution.
• Proficiency in English (mandatory); Arabic is a plus.
