Role description
Role Summary:
This role is key towards the customer experience of the brand on DTC online platforms and the focuses on manual, executional activities such as website management, visual merchandising, creating richer online product experiences, promotional updates, and detailed reporting. The ideal candidate is highly organized, tech-savvy, and adept at coordinating across multiple systems and departments to ensure seamless execution of online initiatives.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Website Management: Execute and ensure visual merchandising updates are done in full and on time, manage new link creation and updates, and ensure promotions are implemented correctly. Creating richer experiences to the website by means of additional assets and content above and beyond basic requirement implementation. Conduct regular navigation reviews and updates to optimize user experience. Improving the customer journey by means of ownership of the key menus and journey navigation on-site. Reporting & Planning: Prepare weekly reports towards banner and carousel performance reviews with accuracy and timelines. Improve and evolve best practices on key processes related to your function. Ad Hoc Operations: Includes addressing challenges around sanctity of inventory on key products as well as support on co-ordination on updates that may be needed for Omni stores on-site. System Coordination: Interact with multiple internal systems to ensure alignment of tasks and proper data flow. Campaign and marketing alignment: Update and support on-site marketing activities as needed and in scope.
People Management:
The incumbent holds no direct supervisory responsibilities but is expected to engage effectively within their function and collaboratively across cross-functional teams. This role contributes meaningfully, whether through operational contributions and/or by offering specialized expertise, guidance, and support, to ensure alignment with either functional and/or strategic organizational goals and objectives.
Functional/Technical Competencies:
• Proficiency in using website content management systems and e-commerce platforms such as Salesforce (MUST), Akeneo, Fluent, etc.
• Strong command of MS Office Suite, especially Excel for reporting and data analysis.
• Basic technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to interact with multiple software systems.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Experience:
• 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce operations, category management, or digital marketing. Demonstrated experience in executing website updates, reporting, or promotional tasks.
• Business level proficiency of both Written and spoken Arabic & English is mandatory
