Job Description
Weβre looking for a Senior Paid Media Manager to join our team and lead our upper-funnel paid media activity in the US market. Reporting into the Paid Media Lead, this role will be pivotal in driving brand awareness and audience growth across key channels including CTV/OTT, YouTube, Paid Social, and Audio.
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned media specialist with US market experience, a passion for audience development, and strong agency management skills. Youβll be responsible for overseeing media planning, execution, optimisation, and reporting - while working closely with our agency partners and internal teams to ensure we hit ambitious reach, awareness, and engagement targets. This person has likely worked at a media agency or in-house executional role.
Our paid media team is a small but dynamic team that executes a hybrid approach to media buying, collaborating both in-house and with external media agencies. The team has ownership across the entire media funnel; from upper-funnel brand activity to lower-funnel performance campaigns. It brings together a diverse mix of skill sets, spanning from strategy and planning through to hands-on execution. This structure allows for end-to-end responsibility, ensuring both big picture thinking and tactical delivery sit within one collaborative unit.
The Role
β’ Lead strategy, planning and execution of upper-funnel paid media campaigns in the US, covering CTV/OTT, YouTube, Paid Social, Audio and offline channels.
β’ Manage day-to-day relationships with media agencies, ensuring best-in-class planning, activation and reporting.
β’ Build and optimise audience development strategies, identifying and testing new segments and targeting opportunities to drive incremental reach and awareness.
β’ Collaborate with internal teams across Brand Marketing, Insights, Creative and Product to align media plans with business priorities and campaign calendars & business objectives .
β’ Own the testing roadmap for US & Australia upper-funnel activity, driving a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement.
β’ Lead on campaign performance reporting, providing clear, actionable insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders at all levels.
β’ Stay on top of platform innovations, audience trends and emerging channels - proactively identifying new opportunities to enhance our media mix
What we're looking for?
β’ 7+ years' experience in paid media, with a strong focus on upper-funnel brand and awareness campaigns in the US market. Some of these years will have been spent executing upper-funnel media.
β’ Deep knowledge of the US media landscape
β’ Proven experience managing and optimising campaigns across CTV/OTT, YouTube, Paid Social (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest) and Audio.
β’ Demonstrable agency management experience - briefing, collaborating with, and holding external partners to account.
β’ Strong track record in audience development and segmentation strategy.
β’ Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, uncover insights and tell a clear performance story.
β’ Strong communicator and collaborator, confident working with multiple internal stakeholders across different teams and seniority levels.
β’ Highly organised, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
β’ Familiarity with attribution modelling and brand measurement frameworks. Including exposure to brand safety and viewability tools.
