Role description
Senior PPC Manager
Fleet, Hampshire | Hybrid working (up to 2 days WFH)
Join one of the UK’s top-performing digital agencies and help deliver paid media campaigns that don’t just perform – they win awards.
As a Google Premier Partner agency, we sit in the top 3% of agencies in the UK. We manage significant budgets across a varied client base that spans ecommerce, fashion, automotive and more – including several well-known household brands. With multiple industry award wins in the last year alone, this is a chance to do work that gets noticed.
We’re looking for a talented and ambitious Senior PPC Manager to join our growing paid media team. You’ll work alongside experienced specialists to shape and run high-performing campaigns, play a key role in client success, and help evolve how we do things as a team. If you’re looking for the chance to step up, experiment and be genuinely valued for your ideas – this is it.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll help lead the delivery and growth of smart, effective campaigns across Google, Microsoft, YouTube, Shopping, Display and more. While search will be your core strength, you’ll also contribute to wider cross-channel strategy, working closely with creatives, strategists and content teams to build integrated campaigns that convert. From media planning and budget forecasting to testing and analysis, you’ll have the freedom – and responsibility – to do what works.
Some of the things you’ll get stuck into:
• Leading the day-to-day strategy, performance and growth of PPC campaigns across a varied portfolio
• Creating and evolving media plans for both lead gen and ecommerce clients
• Owning budget forecasting, pacing and ROI/ROAS delivery
• Analysing performance data and making strategic, test-and-learn recommendations
• Keeping your finger on the pulse of new features, tactics and technologies
• Collaborating on bigger-picture projects like landing page testing, CRO, ad creative and content-led campaigns
• Mentoring and supporting junior team members (with opportunities to step further into leadership)
What we’re looking for
You’re someone who lives and breathes paid search – but you’re not stuck in your ways. You get a kick out of experimentation, ownership and seeing your ideas turn into results.
You’re confident managing clients, accountable for performance and excited about pushing boundaries – whether that’s through new campaign types, tighter strategies or a smarter use of data.
We think you’ll need:
• 5+ years’ hands-on PPC experience (agency-side or multi-client desirable)
• Paid search is your home turf – and you know how to make it deliver
• Proven success with Google Ads across Search, Shopping and Performance Max
• Sharp commercial thinking, including budget ownership and forecasting
• Experience with different bidding models (CPA, ROAS, value-based bidding etc.)
• Confidence using Google Analytics (ideally GA4), conversion tracking and attribution tools
• Strong Excel/Sheets skills for reporting and data analysis
• An eye for opportunity and the drive to see it through
• Bonus points for experience managing paid social campaigns – especially on LinkedIn
Why join MRS?
We’re not like most agencies – and we don’t want to be.
We care about the work, but we care about our people more. You’ll be part of a genuinely supportive, close-knit team with the freedom to do your best work and the recognition when you do. We’re collaborative, ambitious and proud to say that most of our best ideas come from the team – not the top.
Our beautiful leafy office in Fleet (with its own garden and pond!) is a far cry from grey open-plan boxes, and while we support hybrid working, we still enjoy time together in the office – sharing knowledge, solving problems and doing great work in good company.
The perks
❤️ 🩹 Vitality private healthcare insurance
🏡 Work from home up to 2 days a week
⏰ Flexible working hours
🧠 Mental health support
💸 Cash referral programme
🏆 Added long-term service benefits
🎟️ Conference attendance support
💁🏽 ♀️ A collaborative, creative and inspiring working environment
🎂 Birthdays off
