Role description
About SearchX
SearchX is a modern SEO agency driving real results for clients ranging from local shops to Fortune 500 companies. Our client base spans ecommerce stores, short-term rental businesses, and national brick-and-mortar chains. We’ve helped brands scale organic-driven revenue past $3M, grow traffic across international markets, and expand visibility in competitive spaces.
We pride ourselves on our agility, honesty, and ability to serve as an extension of our clients’ internal teams. Whether you're helping a small business owner get on the map or aligning with a marketing director at a public company, our approach is built around clarity, strategy, and execution.
Where AI Meets SEO
AI has become a pivotal part of our strategy—not just for speed, but for scale. At SearchX, we don’t treat AI as a shortcut. We use it as a strategic lever to amplify content planning, surface data insights faster, and build scalable frameworks that support both startups and enterprise clients.
From using AI to inform content briefs to tracking visibility in large language models (LLMs), we’re blending human expertise with machine intelligence in a way that stays ahead of the curve—and ahead of competitors.
Your Role
We’re hiring a Senior SEO Manager to take the lead across a diverse book of business. You’ll guide client strategy, manage deliverables, and drive measurable growth. The ideal candidate can zoom out to see the business impact while knowing how to guide execution across teams.
Responsibilities
• Manage a portfolio of 6–10 clients ranging from ecommerce brands to service-based businesses.
• Serve as the primary contact for strategy, reporting, and performance updates.
• Collaborate with internal team members on content, technical, and local SEO deliverables.
• Present data-driven insights and strategic recommendations clearly and confidently.
• Contribute to internal innovation by helping shape AI workflows, reporting frameworks, and documentation.
• Train and mentor junior SEO team members as needed.
Who You Are
• 4+ years of experience in SEO with a client-facing background.
• Strong communicator—comfortable working with both startup founders and Fortune 500 stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of how SEO impacts real business outcomes (leads, revenue, bookings).
• Open to learning, testing, and integrating AI tools into your process.
• Proactive, dependable, and able to lead in a fast-moving environment.
What’s In It For You
• A flexible, remote-first culture
• Opportunity to work across industries and business sizes
• Exposure to cutting-edge SEO and AI integration workflows
• Performance-based growth tracks (client ownership, leadership, full-time roles)
• A team that actually cares about doing great work—and enjoying the ride
