Job Description: As a Senior Shopify Developer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our e-commerce platform. You will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining our Shopify-based website, ensuring a seamless user experience, integrating various third-party tools and services, and enhancing the presentation of lifestyle content and media that helps consumers make the most of their blenders and become their healthiest self. You will work closely with our design, marketing, and product teams to implement new features and optimize existing ones. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain custom Shopify themes and templates. • Implement new features and functionality to enhance the user experience. • Optimize site performance, ensuring fast load times and a smooth user experience. • Integrate third-party applications and plugins with the Shopify platform. • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues or bugs. • Collaborate with our design and marketing teams to build new designs and features • Ensure the website is fully responsive and optimized for all devices. • Maintain thorough documentation of all code and development processes. • Configure and manage core Shopify store settings including checkout processes, shipping methods, tax rules, and payment gateways. • Maintain and optimize product and blog data structure, collections, tagging systems, and metafields to improve performance and flexibility. • Conduct thorough cross-browser and device testing to ensure consistent performance and visual integrity across platforms. • Collaborate with design and marketing teams to continuously improve on-site user experience and conversion rates. • Identify and execute enhancements to UI components, page structure, and site flow to maximize revenue per session. • Leverage A/B testing, heatmaps, and analytics to inform UX decisions and validate design hypotheses. • Optimize the site’s discoverability in search engines and large language models (LLMs) • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to keep our platform ahead of the curve. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a web developer, with direct experience with Shopify Plus • Strong proficiency in Shopify’s Liquid templating language. • Extensive experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations. • Experience with version control systems such as Git. • Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices and SEO. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Preferred Qualifications: • Knowledge of other e-commerce platforms and technologies. • Experience with design tools such as Figma • Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js). • Experience with headless commerce implementations. • Understanding of ADA compliance for web accessibility. • Understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to data privacy and e-commerce compliance, including GDPR, CCPA, and PCI-DSS. • Experience implementing cookie consent mechanisms, data handling practices, and accessibility features that support legal compliance. • A passion for health, wellness, and nutrition!
