About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join Almosafer’s Data Intelligence team, embedded within the Marketing and CRM function, to power acquisition and retention strategies with data. You will partner closely with digital marketing (brand and performance), CRM, and loyalty teams to optimize spend, increase retention, and maximize customer lifetime value, while ensuring analytics follow Data Intelligence standards and governance. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of analytical experience in e-commerce or travel, strong expertise in digital marketing and CRM analytics, and hands-on experience with BI tools for delivering insights at scale. Knowledge of machine learning and rule-based models is a strong advantage.
Responsibilities:
Acquisition & Digital Marketing Analytics:
• Act as the primary data partner for digital marketing channels (paid search, paid social, display, programmatic) and organic channels (SEO, referral, content).
• Build and maintain attribution models to evaluate channel effectiveness and optimize spend.
• Develop targeting strategies and audience segments for prospecting and retargeting campaigns.
CRM & Retention Analytics:
• Analyze customer behavior, repeat booking patterns, churn risk, and loyalty program engagement.
• Build retention and churn prediction models to improve CRM targeting.
• Measure and optimize CRM campaigns (email, push, in-app, SMS) for engagement and conversion.
• Partner with CRM managers to design and analyze A/B tests for lifecycle marketing.
Advanced Modelling & Data Solutions:
• Design and deploy ML and rule-based models for bid optimization, lifetime value prediction, and personalized offers.
• Ensure marketing and CRM datasets are high-quality and aligned with DI governance.
• Work with Marketing Automation teams to integrate model outputs into execution tools (Moengage, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, etc.).
BI Reporting & Data Storytelling:
• Build self-service dashboards in Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar to monitor acquisition, retention, and ROI metrics.
• Translate data into clear, actionable insights for marketing and CRM leadership.
• Monitor and report on KPIs such as CAC, ROAS, CLV, retention rates, and campaign ROI.
Collaboration & Governance:
• Act as a bridge between Marketing/CRM and the central Data Intelligence function, ensuring consistent definitions and methodologies.
• Share analytical best practices with other embedded analysts across functions.
• Promote data literacy within marketing and CRM teams.
Profile Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM, Business Analytics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in e-commerce, online travel, or digital-first businesses.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python or R, and advanced Excel.
• Strong experience in digital marketing analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, DV360) and CRM analytics.
• Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar for dashboard development and storytelling.
• Strong knowledge of customer lifecycle metrics (CAC, CLV, churn rate, retention cohorts).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; English fluency (Arabic preferred).
• Experience building and deploying machine learning models for acquisition and retention.
• Knowledge of rule-based targeting and marketing automation tools (Moengage, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign).
• Familiarity with big data warehouses (Google BigQuery, AWS Redshift, Snowflake).
