Key Responsibilities • Shopify Store Development: • Build, customize, and optimize Shopify and Shopify Plus storefronts. • Develop custom themes using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript. • Custom Features & Integrations: • Create custom apps or scripts using Shopify API/GraphQL. • Integrate third-party apps, payment gateways, and fulfillment systems. Required Skills & Experience • Technical Skills: • Strong proficiency in Shopify Liquid templating language. • Solid experience with HTML5, CSS3/SASS, JavaScript/ES6. • Familiarity with Shopify APIs and app development. • Experience with version control (Git) and modern dev workflows. • Understanding of JSON, REST, GraphQL. • Experience: • 3+ years of professional Shopify development experience (agency experience a plus). • Proven track record of delivering live Shopify projects. • Experience with Shopify Plus and headless commerce (Hydrogen, Next.js) is highly valued. Nice-to-Have Skills • Experience with React, Vue, or Alpine.js. • Knowledge of performance optimization and Core Web Vitals. • Experience integrating Klaviyo, Recharge, Yotpo, or other key Shopify apps. • UI/UX sensibility and ability to work closely with designers.
