We’re looking for a skilled Shopify Front-End Developer to join Superco, a leading Shopify Plus agency. You’ll work on high-growth e-commerce stores, delivering pixel-perfect UI, seamless UX, and performance-optimised front-end builds. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical skills with a deep understanding of the Shopify ecosystem and thrives in a fast-paced, design-led environment. Key Responsibilities (1) Theme Development & Front-End Engineering • Build and customise Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript • Implement responsive layouts and pixel-accurate designs based on Figma • Optimise site speed and performance across devices and browsers • Create custom sections and components using Shopify 2.0 architecture (2) Integration & Functionality • Integrate apps such as ReCharge, Yotpo, Klaviyo, and ReBuy into the front-end experience • Collaborate with back-end developers to connect APIs, custom apps, and third-party services • Set up analytics, tracking scripts, and testing environments when required (3) Collaboration & Delivery • Work closely with designers, strategists, and project managers to deliver high-quality builds • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practice documentation • Provide front-end estimates and flag technical considerations early in project scoping (4) Continuous Improvement • Stay up to date with Shopify releases, front-end frameworks, and performance techniques • Identify and implement front-end improvements across client stores and internal processes Requirements • Minimum 2 years of front-end development experience with Shopify • Expert knowledge of Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (Vanilla and/or Alpine/React) • Experience with Git workflows and modern dev tools (e.g. ThemeKit, Shopify CLI, npm, webpack) • Strong attention to detail with a passion for clean, maintainable code • Understanding of conversion-oriented UX/UI principles • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Desired Skills • Experience with Shopify Plus features and checkout customisation • Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g. Lighthouse, PageSpeed Insights) • Comfort working within Agile / Scrum workflows • Experience building headless Shopify sites is a plus Why Join Superco We’re a London-based Shopify Plus agency that cares about quality, outcomes, and craftsmanship.
