About The Role
The Social Media Manager at Edgewell is a strategic and creative professional responsible for shaping and executing social media initiatives that align with the companyβs grooming and skincare categories. This role requires a proactive individual with strong entrepreneurial instincts, excellent communication skills, and a passion for brand storytelling. The successful candidate will develop compelling content and copy, manage brand voice across multiple platforms, and build engaged online communities. Working closely with cross-functional teams including e-commerce and digital partners, the Social Media Manager will craft and implement both organic and paid social strategies to enhance brand visibility, foster consumer engagement, and drive business growth. This role also involves analyzing campaign performance, leveraging insights for continuous improvement, and cultivating influencer relationships to amplify brand presence.
Qualifications
β’ Bachelor's degree in Social Media, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or Graphic Design
β’ Minimum of 3 years of experience in Influencer Marketing with strong storytelling skills
β’ At least 3-5 years of experience creating social content, including copywriting, and managing social content strategies
β’ Proficiency in community engagement, social strategy, and data analytics
β’ Deep understanding of influencer and media landscapes and sourcing ongoing partnerships
β’ Strong creative, strategic thinking, and organizational skills
β’ Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment
Desirable qualifications include experience and passion for beauty, skincare, or grooming products, storytelling via visual and conversational communication, and advanced knowledge of social media trends and tools. Excellent judgment, verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interpret data for decision-making are essential.
Responsibilities
β’ Translate overall business objectives into actionable social media content and strategies for grooming brands
β’ Establish and own the brand voice on social platforms, ensuring recognition and engagement
β’ Create, schedule, and publish dynamic, engaging, and timely social content that tells compelling stories and encourages interaction
β’ Oversee content development for organic and paid social campaigns, collaborating with creative teams and external agencies as needed
β’ Monitor, measure, and analyze social campaign performance and KPIs, utilizing insights to optimize strategies and tactics
β’ Stay updated with the latest social media technology, tools, trends, and best practices to innovate and enhance brand connection
β’ Identify, recruit, and nurture relationships with influencers and talent for collaborations and content creation
β’ Communicate community insights to relevant stakeholders to inform broader marketing strategies
β’ Develop and maintain social media playbooks for each brand, defining voice and positioning to establish desirability
β’ Engage proactively in organic and paid social conversations to grow and manage social communities
β’ Establish tracking systems and KPIs for social media performance measurement
