Role description
Location: Park Royal, West London - NW107NH About Us Lola's is there for all life's special moments - providing delicious handmade cakes, cupcakes, brownies & more! Starting things the old-fashioned way, Lola's was born back in 2006 when two friends, Victoria Jossel and Romy Lewis, turned baking into a business. Whilst Victoria and Romy moved onto new projects, Lola's has continued to grow since 2011 with MD Asher Budwig at the helm. Asher has been responsible for spearheading growth to over 400 employees, 40 retail outlets - including several innovative chilled collection lockers & vending machines - and the evolution of the e-commerce platform which now includes many products available for nationwide delivery. Lola’s still stays true to the original ethos of using only the finest ingredients and baking fresh, every single day. Now we’re looking for a Social Media Manager to take our digital presence to the next level, blending creativity, bold ideas, and data-driven strategy. Role Overview The Social Media Manager will be the voice and creative force behind our brand across social platforms. You’ll lead content creation, grow our engaged community, and build exciting influencer collaborations that bring our cakes and cupcakes to life. You’ll also measure what works (and what doesn’t), experiment with new trends and channels, and make bold moves to keep us ahead of the curve. Key Responsibilities • Social Strategy & Execution – Develop and deliver a social media strategy aligned with brand goals across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and emerging platforms. • Content Creation & Editing – Produce engaging photo, video, and written content - from product showcases and behind-the-scenes bakery stories to trending Reels/TikToks. • Influencer Partnerships – Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with influencers, creators, and brand ambassadors to drive awareness and sales. • Community Engagement – Manage direct engagement with our audience through comments, DMs, and interactive content to foster a loyal following. • Channel Growth & Experimentation – Spot trends early, explore new platforms and formats, and take calculated risks to keep our content fresh and shareable. • Performance Tracking & Reporting – Monitor KPIs, campaign performance, and engagement metrics, delivering regular reports and actionable insights. • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with Marketing, E-Commerce, and Retail teams to align campaigns and ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints. About You • Proven experience managing social media for a consumer brand (ideally food, lifestyle, or retail). • Strong track record of growing and engaging audiences. • Skilled in content creation, photography, videography, and editing (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut). • Experience managing influencer campaigns from outreach to reporting. • Confident in interpreting data, spotting trends, and adapting strategy accordingly. • Creative thinker with a willingness to experiment and take bold risks. • Highly organised, able to juggle multiple projects, and work in a fast-paced environment. • Passion for cakes, cupcakes, and creating joyful customer moments! Why Join Us • Be part of a fast-growing, fun, and creative brand loved across the UK. • Opportunity to shape our social presence and take it in exciting new directions. • Work in a collaborative team where ideas are encouraged and celebrated. • Tasty perks — including plenty of cake!
