Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of their development efforts, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional solutions. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable code using modern web technologies.
• Developing new user-facing features and functionality for their omni-channel eCommerce platform.
• Collaborating with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participating in code reviews to uphold code quality and share knowledge.
• Integrating with third-party systems and APIs to enhance platform capabilities.
• Working within an Agile/Scrum framework to ensure timely and effective delivery.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of engineering practices, tools, and processes.
Qualifications
They’re looking for a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and brings the following skills and experience:
• Strong proficiency in frontend technologies such as JavaScript
• Hands-on experience building and consuming APIs, with knowledge of GraphQL and REST.
• Proficiency with modern development tools such as the Atlassian suite
• Solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Knowledge of Postman is advantageous but not required
