Role Overview
Brand new role for Sports Promotion Manager to join our brand MetaWin Sports to manage Sport Radar Viax services and lead sportsbook promotions. This role will focus on building targeted, data-driven campaigns to increase player engagement, retention, and lifetime value across sports betting markets. The successful candidate will work closely with the Acquisition team and the Marketing Automation team to deliver impactful, multi-channel promotions aligned with major sporting events.
Key Responsibilities
Campaigns & Promotions
Manage the full use of Sport Radar Viax (Campaign Manager, Personalisation Engine, Customer Insights).
Plan and deliver sports promotions around major events, leagues, and tournaments.
Design multi-channel campaigns (email, push, onsite, social).
Build and maintain event calendars aligned with sporting schedules.
Test and refine automated journeys such as onboarding, churn prevention, and cross-sell campaigns.
Collaboration & Execution
Work with the Acquisition team on promotions that attract new sportsbook players.
Collaborate with the Marketing Automation team to design lifecycle journeys and ensure consistency across verticals.
Coordinate with trading, design, and product teams to align promotions with odds boosts and player experience.
Partner with customer support to track feedback and improve campaigns.
Data & Insights
Use Viax analytics and BI tools to analyse player behaviour, churn, and engagement.
Segment customers and personalise campaigns based on betting patterns and lifecycle stages.
Monitor campaign performance, make real-time adjustments, and share insights with senior management.
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities between sportsbook, casino, and other verticals.
Quality & Brand
Ensure all promotions follow brand guidelines and provide a consistent customer experience.
Maintain high QA standards across all channels.
Document best practices and share learnings with the wider team.
Required
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 3 years’ experience in CRM management within sports betting
Proven hands-on experience using Sport Radar Viax or similar sports betting CRM platforms.
Strong understanding of sports betting products, odds formats, and customer behaviour.
Expertise in customer segmentation, lifecycle marketing, and retention strategy.
Data-driven mindset with experience in A/B testing and campaign optimisation.
Familiarity with multi-channel marketing tools and automation workflows.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Preferred
Experience in iGaming markets across multiple jurisdictions.
Background in sports analytics and player behaviour predictions.
Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email
