About The Job We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Delivery Manager to join our Digital Engineering team. This individual will lead multiple cross-functional squads in developing innovative software features for our fast-paced e-commerce platform. This role requires a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, with a focus on driving results based on squad KPIs. You will work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to deliver high-quality features that enhance the user experience and drive business growth. What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities • Lead and support multiple cross-functional Agile squads, including developers, testers, designers, and product managers. • Ensure squads are organized, focused, and deliver high-impact software features aligned with business objectives. • Coordinate with other squads and stakeholders to manage dependencies, resources, and timelines. • Foster a collaborative and high-performing culture within the squads. • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. • Remove impediments that may hinder the squads’ progress, ensuring continuous delivery. • Coach team members on Agile practices and help them adhere to Agile principles, promoting a culture of continuous improvement. • Ensure teams remain focused on delivering value in each sprint, aligning with business goals and priorities. • Act as the primary liaison between squads and key stakeholders, ensuring transparency in progress, challenges, and risks. • Identify, track, and manage risks or blockers that may affect squad delivery timelines or product quality. • Proactively mitigate risks by developing contingency plans and providing solutions to unforeseen challenges What You’ll Bring | Skills & Experience • 8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Delivery Manager, or Agile Project Manager, preferably within an e-commerce or software development environment. • Proven experience leading multiple cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, QA, UX/UI, and product management). • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.), Lean practices, and best practices in software development. • Strong ability to drive teams toward successful sprint deliveries based on KPIs and business objectives. • Excellent facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Expertise in managing squad performance metrics (velocity, burn-down charts, cycle time, etc.) to optimize delivery and quality. • Proven experience in backlog management, prioritization, and aligning development work with strategic business goals. • Familiarity with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Rally). • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to act as an influencer to remove obstacles. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in the e-commerce domain is a plus, especially in managing large-scale, customer-facing software features. • Understanding of key e-commerce metrics (e.g., conversion rates, customer experience, transaction volumes) and how development teams can impact them. • Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools. • Familiarity with A/B testing, personalization, and other customer-centric development practices in an e-commerce environment. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications. Over time, and subject to performance, tenure, and evolving responsibilities, total compensation for this role may grow to as much as $190,000. Other compensation may include a 10% Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) bonus paid out according to policy. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
