Job Summary & Responsibilities
Director of Digital Experience will lead the evolution of Inspira’s digital marketing ecosystem, leading both an in-house team, agency and media partnerships to achieve results. This role will be responsible for shaping and executing seamless, data-driven digital experiences across our website, advertising and marketing automation platforms. The ideal candidate will architect an optimal digital buying journey for prospective clients, current customers, and individual account holders—driving engagement, conversion, and loyalty through personalized, insight-led experiences. Serving as a member of the Marketing Leadership team, this role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of both B2B and B2C end-user needs, reducing friction in online channels, and a wealth of knowledge in digital best practices and technologies. Sr. Director, Digital Experience will be involved in data science and data integrity practice as it relates to marketing records, responsible for ensuring integration and overseeing the cleanliness of marketing data to improve the user experience. The Sr. Director will be responsible for developing and communicating the goals, metrics, and execution plan for their function and delivering timely results, developing and meeting their approved budget plan. This leader will be instrumental in building brand awareness and engagement with health plans, benefit advisors, employers, and financial institutions.
Core Responsibilities
• Leadership & Management: Build a high-performing digital marketing team, including recruiting, hiring, and managing staff. Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to the team members. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, mentoring others to grow their skills and deliver outcomes.
• Strategic Planning: Guide the team in developing and implementing marketing strategies that support business objectives, including website design and development, search engine & LLM optimization, marketing automation technology and tactics, paid advertising strategies and deliverables, in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Digital Experience Strategy & Vision: Define and lead the digital experience strategy across web and marketing automation platforms. Architect a cohesive, user-centric digital journey that supports the full client lifecycle—from awareness to advocacy. Champion innovation in digital engagement, personalization, and automation.
• Website & Marketing Platform Leadership: Oversee the strategy, design, and performance of the corporate website and related digital properties. Collaborate with UX/UI, content, and development teams to ensure a best-in-class web experience.
• Marketing Automation & Personalization: Lead the strategy and execution of marketing automation programs (e.g., email, lead nurturing, behavioral triggers). Partner with demand generation and content teams to deliver personalized, timely, and relevant communications. Drive platform integration and data flow between CRM, CMS, analytics and automation tools.
• Analytics & Optimization: Establish KPIs and dashboards to measure digital performance, user behavior, and conversion metrics. Leverage insights to continuously optimize the digital journey and inform content, design, and campaign decisions. Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to improve engagement and outcomes.
• Budget & Agency Management: Manage marketing budgets effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve marketing goals. Manage vendor relationships and digital agency partnerships.
• Innovation & AI: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, including AI both for accomplishing work and in the evolving positioning of the product and platform offerings. Implement innovative marketing techniques to stay ahead of the competition.
Supervisory Responsibilities
• Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff.
• Accountable for the daily workflow, assignments, and output of the department.
• Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
Preferred Qualifications
Education & Experience:
• 12+ years of experience in Marketing, 5+ years of leadership experience.
• Experience in financial services and/or healthcare industry preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
Skills & Abilities
• Proven success managing enterprise-level websites and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Adobe, WordPress, HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce).
• Proven leadership experience carrying out marketing efforts, including planning, prioritizing, and implementing digital strategy.
• Deep understanding of digital customer journeys, UX principles, and conversion optimization.
• Knowledge of CDPs, CRMs, personalization engines, marketing automation, and AI-driven marketing tools.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics & Target, Tableau, ContentSquare, Fullstory).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Data-driven decision-making and ability to connect business results to marketing initiatives.
• Client-centric focus and ability to identify and meet internal and external client needs through strong project management and stakeholder alignment.
• Experience working cross-functionally to ensure marketing programs are aligned with company objectives.
