As Sr. Director of Engineering, you will drive the technical strategy and execution of customer-facing services that directly impact revenue growth. This role is responsible for leading monetization initiatives, scaling B2C platforms, and enhancing user experience through data-driven solutions. You will collaborate closely with product, design, and business teams to deliver innovative features while fostering a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement. Accountabilities
• Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle of B2C services, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions
• Drive technical initiatives focused on monetization, user engagement, and conversion optimization
• Champion the adoption of AI-driven personalization, analytics, and automation across products
• Build prototypes and internal tools rapidly using low-code, no-code, or traditional development approaches
• Oversee engineering activities from concept through deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement
• Shape the B2C product and engineering roadmap in close alignment with Product, Growth, and Marketing stakeholders
• Establish data-driven frameworks to measure feature impact, analyze user behavior, and validate development efforts
• Mentor and inspire teams to innovate, adopt best practices, and continuously improve performance
Requirements
• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 4 years in senior leadership roles
• Proven success leading engineering teams of 10+ people, delivering impactful B2C features at scale
• Strong technical expertise in modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Next.js) and distributed system design
• Experience building and operating high-traffic B2C platforms, e-commerce, or marketplace payment systems
• Deep understanding of data analytics, experimentation methodologies (A/B testing), and insight-driven development
• Strong architectural skills with hands-on involvement in complex system design
• Exceptional communication skills, able to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Track record of driving innovation with an AI-first mindset
• Ability to work effectively with distributed or remote teams
• Preferred: experience with restaurant technology, React full-stack, .NET microservices, e-commerce, CI/CD, or Azure-based cloud environments
