Job Title Sr. Director, Growth & Checkout Role Overview As the Senior Director of Growth & Checkout, you will define and lead the strategy for delivering a world-class growth and checkout experience. You will be responsible for setting the vision and driving innovation in growth and checkout, and building a team that ensures our customers enjoy seamless, fast, and trustworthy experience. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker who can balance innovation, operational excellence, and customer trust while driving measurable business impact. This is a Hybrid position based in either San Jose, CA or Newport Beach, CA. You must be within a commutable distance to one of these two locations. You will be required to be onsite on an as-needed basis; when not working onsite, you will work remotely from your home location. About The Role β€’ Own the end-to-end strategy for the growth and checkout experience, ensuring it maximizes conversion, revenue, and customer satisfaction. β€’ Define and deliver a multi-year roadmap for checkout innovation, including streamlined UX, personalization, and cross-sell/upsell opportunities. β€’ Set checkout KPIs (e.g., conversion rate, average order value, checkout completion rate etc.) and develop initiatives to exceed them. β€’ Lead the development, optimization, and testing of checkout flows. β€’ Drive data-informed decision-making using funnel analytics, A/B testing, and customer feedback. β€’ Partner with marketing, data science, analytics and engineering to develop acquisition-to-conversion growth strategies. β€’ Partner closely with engineering to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of growth and checkout initiatives. β€’ Work with design/UX to ensure frictionless and engaging customer journeys. β€’ Stay ahead of e-commerce, and checkout best practices and emerging technologies. β€’ Benchmark against industry leaders to identify innovation opportunities. β€’ Champion the voice of the customer, ensuring that growth strategies enhance, not compromise, the end-user experience. β€’ Ensure high availability, speed, and reliability of checkout experiences across devices and regions. β€’ Maintain compliance with global payment regulations, tax requirements, and accessibility standards. β€’ Manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of product managers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation. β€’ Build team capabilities in growth experimentation, conversion optimization, and checkout performance. β€’ Establish clear goals, provide continuous feedback, and support career development for direct reports. About You β€’ 12+ years of product management leadership experience, with deep expertise in e-commerce, checkout, and growth. β€’ Proven track record of defining and executing product strategies that deliver measurable business growth and improved conversion. β€’ Strong background in funnel analytics, experimentation (A/B testing, multivariate), and data-driven decision making. β€’ Demonstrated success building and leading high-performing teams, with a passion for coaching and developing talent. β€’ Excellent collaboration and influence skills across engineering, design, marketing, data science, and analytics. β€’ Customer-first mindset, balancing business growth with user experience and reliability. β€’ Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable roadmaps and measurable results. β€’ Passion for delivering seamless, innovative, and secure customer experiences at scale. β€’ Technical fluency in APIs, payment integrations, and platform scalability is a plus.
