This hybrid role can be based in either Carlsbad, CA or Austin, TX.
Roles And Responsibilities
• Own and continuously improve the end-to-end eCommerce product launch process—from initial brief through site go-live.
• Lead cross-functional launch planning in Asana, ensuring tasks, timelines, and dependencies are clear and consistently managed.
• Partner with design, UI/UX, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure alignment and flawless execution of launch milestones.
• Analyze consumer behavior and performance data (PLP, PDP, etc.) to uncover insights that influence content strategy and inform launch execution.
• Identify and implement automation and AI-based solutions to streamline workflows and improve team efficiency.
• Develop and execute data-driven merchandising strategies to optimize conversion rates, drive revenue, and enhance customer experience.
• Ensure accurate and timely website updates, including promotional assets, product launches, and seasonal campaigns.
• Document processes, track bottlenecks, and proactively solve recurring issues to improve speed and quality of execution.
• Drive accountability through weekly launch syncs, calendar meetings, and post-mortem reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate product setup, data integrity, and launch readiness.
• Coordinate with internal teams to validate product data, pricing accuracy, and inventory availability.
• Set up product attributes, manage catalogs and category assignments in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC); build and maintain content in the CMS (Contentstack or equivalent)
• Develop a working knowledge of SFCC jobs and processes to support troubleshooting and coordination with engineering teams
• Use site performance metrics and launch KPIs to optimize future processes and reduce time-to-market.
• Advocate for scalable systems, standardized templates, and operational playbooks that improve team agility and reduce manual effort.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
• Strong project management skills; experience with Asana or similar tools preferred
• Proficiency in eCommerce platforms (Salesforce Commerce Cloud preferred) and CMS tools.
• Highly detail-oriented, with a knack for identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable solutions
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills in fast-paced environments
Education And Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in eCommerce operations, merchandising, or project management.
• Experience managing product launches or cross-functional project plans required.
• Bonus: Experience implementing workflow automation or AI-based tools to improve processes
