Job Description
About the Role
We’re looking for a sharp, commercially-minded Senior Manager, Business Insights to lead the analytics and intelligence function within our Partner Growth organization. This role is central to shaping and executing our strategy to scale talabat’s selection, affordability, customer experience, monetization & internal commercial team enablement
You will lead a high-performing team of insight specialists and collaborate with senior stakeholders across Product, Sales, Finance, and Data to build scalable insight engines, tools, models and set the bar for and commercial performance measurement. This is a strategic yet execution-heavy role for a leader who thrives on impact, clarity, and action.
Key Responsibilities
• Own and scale the Business Insights function across the Partner Growth org – encompassing acquisition, retention, growth, monetization, and the digital enablement of vendors.
• Build and lead a high-performing analytics team using agile practices – prioritizing business value, speed, and impact.
• Define the intelligence roadmap for commercial teams: from KPI frameworks and performance benchmarking to campaign tracking and vendor health diagnostics.
• Transform complex data into strategic clarity – delivering actionable recommendations that influence leadership decisions across Sales, Product, and Marketplace teams.
• Design and implement scalable dashboards and analytics solutions (Tableau or equivalent), ensuring real-time visibility of team and vendor performance across multiple geographies and segments.
• Drive deep-dive analyses on vendor economics, discount ROI, campaign performance, and pricing strategy to unlock new growth levers.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with senior stakeholders in Product, Data Engineering, Finance, and Legal to align on shared goals, data infrastructure, and delivery.
• Champion automation and self-serve analytics, identifying opportunities to reduce manual work and accelerate time to insight.
• Uphold analytical excellence by embedding best practices in SQL, dashboarding, and data storytelling across the team.
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring
• 7–10 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, strategy, or consulting, with at least 3+ years of leading teams or projects in a cross-functional setting.
• Deep expertise in SQL and visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI); comfort in building models and tools from scratch.
• A strong commercial mindset with a track record of linking data insights to revenue or operational outcomes.
• Proven ability to operate in fast-paced, matrixed environments and to influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
• Experience leading agile analytical roadmaps, prioritizing impact and speed over perfection.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or a related field. Master’s degree is a strong plus.
Preferred Qualifications
• Background in food delivery, e-commerce, marketplaces, or high-volume B2B2C environments.
• Experience in vendor growth, partner incentive structures, or commercial performance optimization.
